Extra thick mat, and chair glides easily on it! Just be aware that this mat requires two people to unroll, and some heavily weighted items to (initially) weight it down. But once it flattens out, it holds its own on medium thick carpets/rugs!

I bought this for a desk chair on carpet, and it does what I needed it to do. Rolling an office chair directly on carpet gets annoying fast, especially when the wheels dig in or fight you every time you move. This mat makes the chair glide much more easily. The size works well for a normal desk setup, and it lays flat without being a constant curling problem. It is not some massive heavy-duty industrial mat, but for a home office, schoolwork, computer setup, or gaming desk, it is a good practical fix. It also helps protect the carpet from chair wheels, which is a nice bonus. Simple product, easy improvement, and definitely better than dragging a chair around on carpet like a caveman with lumbar problems.

I may have purchased the wrong one however, it does not work very well on my carpet. My chair still sinks into it. Maybe my carpet is too plush, which does not allow the chair to move smoothly

This is a great value. I was looking for a desk mat to protect my new rug from the roller marks of my office chair. It allows me to easily move the chair and practically invisible so that the beauty of my new rug shows through. The small spikes keep it in place and because it is thin and lies flat, I do not catch the edges of it with the tip of my shoes or toes. I have not had this mat very long so I don't know how long it will last without cracking or breaking but if, in a few years, it does break, I will buy it again.

Very thin and flimsy. We have plush carpets and the chair just sinks into the mat leaving indents. Going to return this because I can already tell it will not hold up

this did not work on my carpet and the carpet is not think - but I found a great use for it in front of my apartment kitchen sink which is carpet so spills are easy to clean now

Great price for an excellent product

This is used on a carpeted floor. I like the studs on the underneath side to keep it from moving on the floor. It is sturdy and will last a long time.

I'm returning this mat because of it's poor quality. From sitting on my deck chair for 15 minutes the divets are clear and it's no better than having my chair on the carpet.

It takes two people to unroll it, and you need something quite large and heavy to flatten afterwards, but after that it's perfect. It's hard to find chair mats in these larger sizes. No problems with it so far.

Should have some weights at home to make it work.
