Espero no usarlo, se ve de muy buena calidad. Viene programado para USA, si quieres registrarlo para Mexico, es necesario re programarlo con un distribuidor autorizado. Si no lo registras,de todas formas puedes usarlo y emite su señal pero sin datos personales, lo cuál es una desventaja. No debes usarlo en USA sin registrar por qué te multan. Se ve de muy buena calidad, sin duda lo usaré para mis viajes de pesca en kayak o en lancha.

While I hope to never have to use this product, it definitely provides peace of mind when boating or traveling in remote locations. The instructions are simple, and it appears the PLB will be very easy to use if necessary. I purchased the model with the screen which provides feedback so you can rest assured that your emergency signal has been received. ACR is the leader in PLB technology, and anyone boating in remote locations should have one. Note that the unit requires registration, and periodic testing to ensure proper functionality.

Bought for son in law to have on his boat and person when he’s fishing off shore. Haven’t had to use it yet. But it’s nice to know they have it on board just in case
