This kit is a great value if you're getting into candle making or want to stock up on supplies. The 10 pounds of soy wax goes a long way, and I liked that it included 100 cotton wicks along with wick holders so I could start making candles right away without ordering extra accessories. The wax flakes melt evenly and were easy to work with. I had smooth pours with very little mess, and the finished candles burned cleanly once they had time to cure. The included wicks were consistent in quality and centered easily using the wick holders. One thing to keep in mind is that wick size can vary depending on the diameter of your candle container and whether you're using fragrance oils or dyes, so you may eventually want to experiment with different wick sizes for the perfect burn. That isn't a downside of this kit, just part of candle making. Overall, I was impressed with the quality of the wax and the generous amount included. If you're looking for a complete soy wax kit that provides enough supplies for multiple batches, this is an excellent choice.

I really enjoy this kit for me as a beginner! The wax is great although I was a bit disappointed at the flimsness of the wicks. But it seemed to work maybe just not as good as some , thank you to hearts and crafts for your work !

This wax came in the very next day. It was what I was looking for if the price point was a little bit lower. I think I was actually switch my brand over to this wax. I love the way that holds the fragrance. I love how it melted or whipped, it absolutely perfect and amazing. I would definitely recommend.

This was my first time making homemade candles, and I was very pleased with this wax. I bought a 10 lb. bag and was able to make about 10 mason jars (8 oz.) worth of candles. The wicks were a bit tricky to stay up, but the metal clasps that came with were helpful in keeping them centered and still - this did take a few tries though. I feel the value of this bag is well worth it ($3/candle), however you can easily run up the price of making a candle from home if you have to buy containers (like mason jars) and use premium fragrance/oils. A few side notes/tips: I used ~25 drops of essential oil, which was barely enough to get any scent out of the candles. Apparently they need more like 80 drops to actually give off the oil scent, which for me is a bit much, considering I have doTERRA oils and they aren't the cheapest, in terms of using a bunch of bottles on 8 oz. candles. I may go to the store and buy cheaper oils next time. Wax melting technique used was submerging the jars (which contained wax) in hot water in crockpot...this method worked really well, and was easy/mess free.

It came out of the silicone mold without any problems. It turned white when melted. I will buy it again, I recommend it.

Great quality wax. Bought this to make my own candles to gift as wedding favors. Everyone loved them ! The sent is easy to control by finding a good candle recipe online and mixing good quality essential oils inside.
