Simplicity !
When I'm traveling I prefer to use The Pro-Media Gear Gimbal headed tripod thingie. I always attempt to leave it at home but can never find the courage. I'm hoping I can use then if I'm at home, and can dash out for some quick, non critical images . . .

Needs sturdy monopod
I bought this one and it seems to be a generic product also sold by other manufacturers. I got it for $39 and it also includes the second panoramic base in contrast to for example Neewer. Other then the design difference of the large silver knob I do not se a difference between this one and Neewer's. However, my monopod seems to be not stiff enough, it has quite a bit of flex when I move the lense in gimbal mode. Maybe I have to get a more professional monopod as mine was just $15

Nearly exactly as I hoped it would be it does work as I wanted but a nylon liner round the ball would make it near perfect for my 200 to 600 lens on the mono pod, it does work but any dust on the ball and it starts squeaking when pivoted quickly ( tracking birds) but keep it clean and it's not bad for the money. How long it will last is anyones guess.. Locked vertical for normal camera use it's spot on.. But free pivoting on its side the nylon would improve it no end

La descrizione del prodotto non è molto chiara viene scritto che sopporta 10 kg e poi nelle immagini scopri che apporta 4 kg, ed effettivamente si presenta piccolo, la finitura è buona, ma al massimo monterei solo una piccola Bridge con obbiettivo.

Disappointing in use with the camera mounted at the side of the head as shown in some of the promotional images. The ball is too stiff to allow free movement. The panoramic mount is not smooth in the same orientation. Used with a 180-600mm Zoom lens. It is reasonably OK when used with the camera and lens mounted above the head.
