If you're not a fan of the old school cool flat head earbuds, don't expect any miracles from these. However, if you do like that particular style, then these are a good option. I will say they are my least favorite variation of the FAAEAL flat heads. That doesn't mean they sound bad, but in my opinion the others sound better. I first used them in my LG Q7 that I've converted to a DAP. Most wired earbuds sound great through the quad DAC, but these sounded like i was listening through a towel or something. I was surprised given my experience with the other FAAEAL flavors. So I tried them through my A&K DAP and they sounded normal but not great. The sound to my ears is neutral but subdued with a slight recess of mids with vocals. The bass is present but not amplified. If your music has punchy bass, you will def hear it but it won't hit due to the lack of a good seal in the ear. There are no harsh highs and nothing at all sounds "tinny" or harsh. It's all just flat and uneventful. I get the best fit with the included covers, but you don't have to use them. The cable is very thin and it can tangle if you're just throwing these in a bag as you leave.

It works. After few weeks I hear intermittent buzzing on the left side. I use it primarily for online meetings so not a big deal, but it can be annoying time to time.

I have purchased several of these ear buds. The sound is very good for a reasonably priced ear bud set.

I got these because I'm traveling soon and want some earphones to watch movies on the plane. They came in a cute little velvet pouch and with 4 pairs of earbud covers. So far so good. The only thing that isn't great for me is the size of the buds. I am on the smaller size of ears and the buds do fit in tight. I don't know how well they will do on a 10 hour flight, but hoping that I can use them for a bit and then give my ears breaks in between.

I didn't expect audiophile quality but I had hoped for a little more. The problem though is the type of ear buds these are. Anything that does not 'seal up' in your ear is not going to produce good base. These will allow you to hear things but you will lack any type of real base. I have other buds that have rubber seals that work great for bass. I just wanted something with a wire for late night comfortable tv watching. The little dust covers that come with these do help with sound quality. Take the time to put them on they will also help keep the earbud in your ear area. You get mutliple sets too...that is nice!
