Improve your physical and mental
I think the value packed in this card set is absolutely immense. I boasts dozens of exercises, from physical stretching, to breathing - all providing positive mental and physical effects. I am not sure what isn't to like with this? Full color, well made cards make up the set. I suppose for the price, it would have been nice to see included some of the tools needed for the exercises - such as a ball for the 'ball on foot' card.

Fantastic little cards
I spend a lot of time in the house and work on a computer. I also look after my mother who is 96, so I don't get out much and don't have time to do exercise. I know I should do more, but there are just not enough hours in the day. I do often get very stressed and anxious, and when I saw these cards I thought I would try them out. I am so pleased I did. They are very handy - about the size of large playing cards, and there are 42 simple exercises in the pack. All the exercises are easily done at home and in a few minutes, so there is no excuse not to do something during the day. I have just got these, and rather than choose a particular exercise, I tend to shuffle the pack, as I would do with a pack of cards, and pick out a couple and do them when I get a few spare minutes during the day. They definitely help to take my mind away from work, and some of them are simple enough for even my mother to do while she is seated in a chair. Such a good idea for people who don't have time to do exercise. I know there are similar exercises online, but to be honest, after spending most of my day at my computer I just want to escape the internet when I have finished work, and so physical cards work really well for me.

Very on trend!
There is so much around right now about somatic exercise so I thought I would give these cards a try. There 42 cards in all, each with a different exercise affecting the release of tension in a specific part of the body. They are larger in size than a regular pack of playing cards, but they do have a lot more information to give. Rather than doing a whole quick exercise regime the idea is that you can choose the exercises to tailor your current physical situation and available time. I wasn't sure how to use these, but decided depending on my time, I would shuffle and choose randomly from the pack 3,4 or 5 cards commit to those exercises for the day. This works for me. The cards give a description of each exercise and how to do it and for how many repetitions. I can see the value in these; sometimes you have limited time for exercise and can't decide how best to spend it, and before you've made a decision, the time has all gone. Commit to however you want to use them and you will benefit from the effort and time spent. Great idea and would recommend.

Requires physical exertion
I did not realise these were physical therapy cards and so I am unable to use them. or review them honestly. I am disabled. I do not do pilates nor yoga.

Reviewed all the cards last night and separated out some that I thought would be most helpful for me. When I'm overwhelmed, it can be hard to come up with ideas, so having these cards is helpful.

Te las puedes llevar a cualquier lado y en un momento te diseñas una rutina de ejercicios somáticos variada y a tu gusto. Puedes elegir al azar los ejercicios o también seleccionar intencionalmente los que prefieras. Es una buena forma de poder practicar sin depender de mirar los ejercicios en vídeos o en libros, aprendes una gran variedad de prácticas y las puedes realizar a lo largo del día en rutinas breves, durante una pausa de trabajo o bien en una rutina más larga, según prefieras. En la parte de delante viene una foto en blanco y negro del ejercicio que te ayuda a visualizarlo y una explicación breve. Detrás, hay instrucciones paso a paso y detalladas para poder realizar el ejercicio adecuadamente. El texto está en inglés. Las instrucciones se entienden bien y son fáciles de seguir. Traen una gran variedad de ejercicios muy bien seleccionados para practicar la conciencia corporal: estiramientos, visualización, bodyscan y muchos otros tipos de ejercicios. Me han gustado mucho!

I managed to get this when it was on sale, and I love it! I had been perusing options for expanding the amount of somatic exercises I use, and it is important to learn more to help release stagnated trauma stuck within the body to heal. These cards add a fun aspect to learning more somatic exercises, and you can pull one new card a day to do during a 15 minute break in your day. Self-care is imperative, and this is an excellent way to add another way to show care for yourself!
