Amazing customer service
This is my second Eufy baby monitor that we have had in the last 2 years. Our original one (the older model) began to lose connection so I decided I wanted to upgrade to the WiFi model. The picture quality is excellent and the screen size is perfect. To my disappointment, the camera did start to lose connection and would only reconnect if I would go in to my son’s room and power the camera on and off (similar to other reviews), After dealing with this issue for a couple weeks I reached out to their customer service to request a replacement. They were extremely understanding and had a replacement to me the following day and provided a return label for the camera that was disconnecting. The replacement was disconnecting almost immediately so I was obviously very irritated at this point and requested a refund. Their customer service was very responsive and apologetic and was willing to refund me and take back both cameras. Luckily before I returned the camera there was an update that came out to fix bugs and connection issues. Since that update we have not lost connection one time. I contacted customer service again with an update and they were happy that it was now working and want to review the camera that was malfunctioning to find the root of the issue to make quality improvements. I was ready to leave this brand but because of their customer service and their ability to acknowledge the issues and wanting to make improvements, I will remain a Eufy customer for all of my baby monitor needs.

Very pleased with this system
This is an excellent product in every way. Here I compare and contrast it to the “Babysense 5.5” 1080p Full HD Split-Screen Baby Monitor, Video Baby Monitor with 2 Cameras and Audio, 6-Color RGB Night Light, 1000ft Range, Two-Way Audio, 4X Zoom, 5000mAh Battery,” which I bought first but am returning. One principal difference is that the eufy is Wi-Fi enabled and the Babysense isn’t. I’m using a two-camera eufy set-up to monitor a kitten nursery, and it’s great to be able to see and hear what’s going on from inside the app, anywhere I have cell or internet service. The app also lets you invite people to look and listen, which is fun. It’s very well done, offering all the controls (and even more) than the supplied monitor. The eufy offers a sharper image and better color rendition, especially in low light. Night-vision is sharper too – very crisp. Everything looks better on the iPhone than the supplied monitor, but the monitor isn’t bad at all. The two monitors are pretty similar in terms of size, appearance and features. Only the eufy allows cameras to be used for nine hours in daylight and five hours of night vision without AC power, which might be useful for trips, but for 24/7 monitoring it’s best to have them plugged in. It’s dangerous to have cords that cats can chew on, but I think the power is stepped down. In any case, I bought plastic spiral cable wrap to enclose them. Focus is better with the eufy. Both brands’ cameras have standard tripod mounts, which is great. There’s a longer lag time between audio and video with the eufy, but it’s livable. Note that in the eufy, if you take a screenshot in Wi-Fi mode, the icon confusingly is a scissors, and that even if you’re zoomed in, the image won’t be. The “baby-seeking” feature of eufy is confusing and seems to work only intermittently. Eufy has four levels of zoom, vs. only three for Babysense. Color-keyed LED scale on Babysense monitor lets you watch for loud sounds rather than having to hear them. The eufy comes with only one camera, vs. the Babysene’s two. An extra eufy camera is $100, but to me it’s worthwhile. Happy to answer any questions.

Mediocre when it worked, broke after 7mos
Used this monitor for 7 months. I frequently had connectivity problems. Sometimes the unit would disconnect from the camera altogether, and other times the audio would be off but the video feed would stay on (not helpful since you wouldn’t know your baby is crying unless you happen to turn the screen in and see it!). There was also an audio lag. Noticed how I’ve been using the past tense? Well, today the base/receiver screen simply won’t charge, and the monitor is now completely nonfunctional. Luckily I had an old school audio-only monitor on hand I could use for tonight as backup. I bought this monitor because I had an older Eufy monitor that I have used for 3 years with my older child and it’s still working great, always has. Apparently the newer models have seriously gone down in quality. I will be throwing this one in the trash and will have to buy another monitor from a different company. Huge disappoint and waste of money.

A Solid Choice with Some Battery Concerns
As first-time parents, finding a reliable, easy-to-use baby monitor was a top priority for my husband and me. After researching different models, we landed on the Eufy Security Baby Monitor E20, and overall, we couldn’t be happier with our choice! It offers a great balance between security, portability, and convenience, but there are a few small drawbacks worth mentioning. What We Love: ✅ Portability & Ease of Use – This baby monitor is incredibly portable, which is perfect for moving between rooms or taking with us when we visit family. The compact design makes it easy to carry around without feeling bulky. The range seems alright but can disconnect frequently if you don’t have the antenna up. We’re not in a large home and the nursery is pretty centrally located ✅ Private & Secure Connection (With WiFi Option!) – One of the biggest reasons we chose this monitor is that it supports point-to-point (P2P) connection, meaning it doesn’t rely on WiFi for security and privacy. However, having the WiFi option when needed is a huge plus—giving us the best of both worlds. ✅ Clear Video & Night Vision – The camera quality is crisp and clear, even in night mode. We can see our baby without any lag or graininess, which is super reassuring during those late-night check-ins. ✅ Two-Way Audio & Sound Alerts – The two-way talk feature lets us soothe our baby without having to rush in immediately, and the sound detection alerts us if he starts stirring. ✅ Expandable System – We love that we can add additional cameras if needed, making this a great long-term investment as our family grows. What Could Be Better: 🔸 Battery Drains Quickly – The biggest downside for us has been the battery life. It seems to drain much faster than expected, and I find myself charging it frequently throughout the day. That said, I suspect my settings (such as screen brightness and sound sensitivity) may be draining it faster than normal, so some adjustments might help. 🔸 No Built-in Mounting Clip – While the monitor itself is great, I really wish it came with a clip or a way to attach it to a crib or bassinet. We ended up purchasing the Baby Monitor Mount Camera Shelf, which worked perfectly for attaching the monitor to our rolling bassinet. It would be amazing if Eufy included a built-in mounting solution instead of requiring a separate purchase. Who Should Buy This? ✅ Parents Who Want a Secure, Private Monitor – If you’re worried about WiFi hacks, the point-to-point connection is a great security feature. ✅ Parents Who Want Portability – If you need a baby monitor that can easily move from room to room or be great travel camera, this is a great option. ✅ Parents Who Prefer Non-WiFi But Want the Option – The ability to use WiFi when needed makes this more flexible than many non-WiFi baby monitors. ✅ Parents Looking for Expandability – If you want to add more cameras later, this system allows for easy expansion. Final Thoughts: Despite the battery draining quickly, we are very happy with this baby monitor. It provides great video quality, a secure connection, and useful features like two-way audio. The only thing I’d change would be better battery optimization and an included mounting option—but those are minor issues compared to the overall performance. Would we buy this again? Yes! It has been a great investment for our first child, and we’d recommend it to other parents looking for a versatile and reliable baby monitor

So impressed
I am so impressed with this camera. It works great! Great picture and sound quality. I love the internal battery. It’s got great battery life for travel. Such a great camera for such a great value!

Camera works great unsure about audio.
We have had this for a few months now absolutely love it. We only use it as a camera so I can’t say anything about the audio or the audio features. And we also have the screen plugged in at all times so I can’t speak to battery life. But the camera is great even at night in you can see well and it zooms in.

Unreliable
We had the prior version of this baby monitor and loved it, but unfortunately we kept having issues with the camera cord not staying connected to the camera. After two warranty replacements, we decided to give this upgraded version a try and we are disappointed. Some things to be aware of: 1. Delay. There is a several second delay on this monitor. We didn’t have this issue with the prior version. If you have a single story house, the result is hearing every sound in the nursery twice several seconds apart. There is also a delay when you turn on the monitor. It takes a second for the display picture to adjust to real time. 2. VOX. VOX mode is very important to us and this monitor is one of the few that has it. The VOX on the prior version worked perfectly and you could set the sensitivity. I have not found an option to change the sensitivity on this version. Our kid basically has to be screaming for the monitor to pick it up in VOX mode. 3. Battery/Disconnect. We have had issues with the battery on the monitor dying or the camera losing connectivity in the middle of the night. There is no alarm to let you know this is occurring. The prior version would alarm when the monitor battery was low or when the camera lost connection. I’ve always been happy with Eufy/Anker products and this is so close to being the perfect camera. I’m not how they managed to make the new version worse. Hoping they can get the kinks worked out.

Incredibly sharp and quiet monitor
I can’t say I’ve ever written a review before but this monitor deserves it. Our previous monitor was thrown by our toddler, and ultimately had to be replaced. I purchased another highly rated monitor… that was beyond fuzzy and didn’t have an accurate temperate reading. Really the only two features I use. I returned it. I read about this brand in a Reddit forum and thought I would give it a shot. Wow! SO glad I did. The picture is the most clear image I could have hoped for. The features are straightforward and easy to use. The quiet volume is actually quiet. The dim backlight is actually dim. It can run plugged in or on a battery reserve if we need to go somewhere for the afternoon. I honestly cannot say enough great things about this camera. If you are looking for: a camera that is quiet when you only have one volume bar on, sharp picture, basic but useful features, ease of transportation, WiFi or non-WiFi capabilities, and zoomed in or zoomed out camera options - THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU. I wish I would have bought this camera 19 months ago!

High quality product
So impressed with how well this is working. Great video quality, battery life and features. Temperature readings and noise alerts are great. Love that it’s both battery and wall socket powered. Exactly what we needed. Would recommend to anyone with a newborn.

Eufy E20 2K Video Baby Monitor Review – Stylish, Smart, but Severely Limited
I gave this baby monitor a one-star rating, and that star is solely for its style... The Eufy E20 2K feels premium from the moment you unbox it. The build is sturdy, the buttons offer nice tactile feedback, and the infrared light is so subtle at night it's barely noticeable—which is great for a sleeping baby. The camera itself looks fantastic in any setup. The companion app is also packed with genuinely useful features. I especially appreciated the baby cry alerts and the automatic recording of the event during those moments. It’s comforting to not only be notified but to be able to watch what happened. However, these strengths are completely overshadowed by a glaring flaw: the camera constantly gets stuck, refusing to pan or tilt. The error message “gimbal reaches its limit” appears even when the camera hasn’t moved. I’ve restarted the device multiple times a day just to regain movement, and even a factory reset didn’t solve the problem—it inevitably comes back. At this point, the camera has become essentially useless. A baby monitor that can't be repositioned loses its core functionality. Stylish? Absolutely. Reliable? Sadly, no. For a product that promises peace of mind, this one delivers more frustration than comfort.
