My console arrived fast(I do have Prime delivery though) and worked exactly like expected! The gray colorway comes with a 64gb microSD card, but you may want to purchase your own microSD as these included cards don't always succeed. The game selection has truly over 5000 games, but as I wanted more customization I installed a different OS. The buttons and pads feel nice and grippy, and the screen quality is perfect for retro gaming.

While I was researching the market for these, I was frustrated because there a different sets of reviews for each vendor who is selling these on Amazon. I'm usually uncomfortable with devices that have low numbers of reviews. All of these things made me conclude that the Anbernic devices are low quality. Then I did a deep dive on YouTube. The wide adoption of raspberry pi for embedded computing needs has resulted in commoditized game boys with mature, quality, open source feature sets, and this realization couldn't make me happier. Other reviews are going to say stay away unless you know how to tinker with emulator and linux stuff. I say if you don't know how to look up and follow YouTube tutorials, then you are failing at life. Seriously, this unit is great for first generation 3D gaming and I'm proud to say that I'm going to spend lots of free time using it.

Good device. No NES games. UI is serviceable but not the best performing handheld you can find. Battery is a problem for recharging since a 5W plug is needed.

It’s pretty impressive. It has thousand playable games. All games are smooth. And the screen is good too. I played about 4 hours so far it still has more than half battery. And The backlight of is stunning. It’s slim and well fit in my packet. I’m still trying to figure out how to load my own games cause I has two 64gb tf cards. Pretty good stuff and even a great gift for kids.

The Anbernic RG Cubexx is a fairly well rounded jack-of-traides low end emulation hand held that especially shines with Gameboy, and Gameboy color with its beautiful high resolution (3.95" at 720x720 resolution) relatively big square screen. There are numerous options for firmware with my favorite being MinUI for it's simplicity. The controls are comfortable and well placed with most of them being rubber membrane. Start, select, M, and reset buttons are dome switches. The d-pad is a mini Sega style that is comfortable if small. It has two switch style hall effect joysticks with multicolored LED lighting and are clickable. Unfortunately they suffer from Cardinal snap and are not well suited for subtle movement. The unit is powerful enough to play all games through the original PlayStation. The unit comes with a 64GB SD card that contains numerous video game ROMs from various consoles. The overall shape of it is comfortable in the hand with raised grip areas on the back of the unit. Overall I love it and It has become my daily driver.

WARNING: DO NOT BUY! This device failed after a mere few weeks. Seller is completely unresponsive, leaving me with an expensive paperweight. With the return window closed, I've lost my entire investment. Avoid this scam and save your money!
