I really love this HydroGarden and have had a great experience with it. It was very easy to assemble, and I was able to get everything set up and planted right away. One thing I really appreciated is that it comes with everything you need to get started, including the plastic pods holders, peat soil cones, plant food, and tweezers. I didn’t have to buy any extra starter supplies. All I needed were my seeds. I’ve noticed that my plants grow stronger and healthier in the HydroGarden compared to seeds I started in soil. The roots and leaves develop really well. I’ve also used it just to start plants and then transplant them into soil, and they’ve done great. Overall, I highly recommend this HydroGarden. It works well, is beginner friendly, and delivers great results.

I would neither buy this product again nor I would recommend it. I is unlikely that I will ever buy anything from this company again because their products cannot be maintained longterm. That means that although this unit is cheaper in the short-term, it is more expensive in the long run. 1. If you are going to set up this growing system in a place where you regularly spend time, you will want to get the one with black plastic. The white plastic reflects the light so brightly that I believe it could damage your eyes over the longterm. 2. I had a run-around experience with their customer service folks. The people I spoke to were incredibly friendly, so very friendly, but they never answered my question. My question was, is it possible to replace the lights, the pump, or the plug after the 2-year warranty runs out? And if so, what do they cost? At first I was told “We regret to inform you that this accessory for this product is currently not available for separate purchase. Our product comes with a 12-month warranty, which can be extended by 12 months upon registration, for a total of 24 months. Rest assured, if any problems arise during product use, we will provide free replacement warranty service.” I then double checked with “Ava,” that this meant that up to 2 years, the parts could be replaced but beyond that, it is not possible to replace them and was told, “Please don't worry, we will help resolve the issue. Rest assured, if the product is damaged or has any quality issues after 1-2 years, we still provide a warranty service for replacement parts. You can use the product with confidence.” This would mean that these parts are guaranteed for life. When I tried to confirm that the parts were guaranteed for life, I was told “Please don't worry, we will help resolve this issue. Rest assured, we will provide warranty replacement service for any damaged or malfunctioning components in the system. You can use it with confidence.” I think ultimately, this is a fine unit for someone who can’t afford a better unit and wants to see what it’s like to work with a hydroponics system to grow some herbs. I prefer to purchase things that can be repaired because it’s much cheaper for me in the longterm and because it’s better for the planet.

With removable light stem it's so easy to clean. My system from a different company doesn't and it's such a pain! Still Runs well and I've had it for about 1 1/2 years. Good lighting and produces healthy growth. Only downside is only has one timer option. 16 on 8 off only option. Considering buying another system from this company. Highly recommend

I have owned this for a few weeks. As you can see from the photo, the plants are coming along nicely. I may buy a second one, just for spices. I only grow stuff that I can eat, though I'm certain it would work for flowers (and probably cannabis) as well. As yes, as you can see in the photo, I do run the unit in a clothes closet. As a full-time RVer, space is a premium and this closet as at the far end of my RV from my bedroom. This is important as the unit has no controls to adjust when the (very bright) LEDs come on or turn off. Also, putting it on a timer would probably not work well either. My mind cannot calculate how much this would mess things up, and I'm pretty sure it would alter the Laws of Time and Space in a Newtonian universe. A few other notes: 1. I bought a cheap USB rechargeable fan to put some breeze of the plants daily. This is important as the plant lings become "stalky" and weak if they don't get exposure to some breeze as they develop/grow. 2. Buy your seeds from amazon . I went to Tractor supply and a "Dollar" store and each packet costs between 1-5 dollars. $9.99 gets you 43 vegetable seed packets from Amazon. Keyword search " 43 Assorted Vegetable & Herb Seed Packets ". 3. The provided nutrients work very well and are going to last me a while. I do water and nutrient changes every 14 days and I have enough for several more water changes 4. I did register the product with the manufacturer, and while nothing has failed and I don't expect it to, I was surprised and pleased that the company reached out to see if all was going well. Their response didn't feel like some form letter or automated response. 5. READ!!! The water pump DOESN'T OPERATE 24x7. It is on for 30 minutes then off for 30. This is how it's designed and it works, so don't panic if you get close to the unit and don't hear the pump working at that moment. In conclusion, I highly endorse this product. It is a good value and works well.
