Great Security camera with 180 Horizontal view coverage
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a great product with great lowlight quality videos. We use this for our outdoor security outside a building and the video quality is great. Build quality of the anti vandalism is also great!

I can see the whole side of my yard now
The new Reolink camera was a great solution for the gap in my yard's security coverage, especially after some recent mischief. Its super wide field of view is exactly what I needed. Just a heads-up, though: I did have to update my NVR to accommodate the wide image format.

Reolink Duo 3V - Much good, some bad and a little bit ugly.
Ok, so where to start on this Reolink Duo 3V camera... It's 180 degree of viewable, which is part of the much good. It's a solid camera, it's not cheap or weak case/shell. The Camera can obviously take some hits and keep on going which supports it's IK10 Vandal-proof rating.Unlike other cameras, you have to take the camera fully apart to secure it to the overhang. This is the bad part. While other cameras give you a base what allows you to slide/rotate the camera onto, it's very easy to secure a base to the overhang. In this camera, you will REALLY need to the template that's included, use that to drill your holes into the overhang, and hopefully, have your cable lined up as well. This really made mounting the camera a real pain in the rear end, and is why it's not a five star rating. Once you do have the main part mounted, you get to screw the cover back on with the included star type L shape wrench. Also, since you have no PTZ, you have to really crank hard on the Philips head screw to setup the alignment of the cameras up/down.The ugly comes in the form of getting this system setup. After loading the software onto my laptop, you could get the camera accessible, setup IP address and other goodies. In my case, I needed ONVIF along with a username/password combo. At first Synology would talk to ONVIF, but the camera just shut it self down. I then found that Synology actually has a REOLINK DUO 3V selection, and we went from ugly to a better setup. Had we not of had Synology's reolink setup, I have a feeling this would have been a mess to get working. Good thing I did check the Synology website first, and DUO 3V was listed. Finally, some more good. Once I did get it all working, you do get a very nice 180 degree view. It's not bad looking and where the two cameras "meet" is not bad [nor does it stick out in the middle of the picture]. So far, I'm happy with my purchase. The Synology has no issues with the camera and remote viewing works perfectly.

Great Camera But Not For Me
I bought this camera to use with Home Assistant. I was so excited to for my first Reolink camera (coming from Amcrest) because of all the available features in the HA plug-in. And the plug-in was amazing. I loved having separate entities for people vehicle and animal detection! But this camera just doesn’t work well in Scrypted. I could never get the Reolink Scrypted plugin to recognize the main stream. The highest res h264 available was 2560x720, which is ok but not great. But the bigger issue with the reolink plugin was that two way audio and Homekit secure video would not work. I switched over to the onvif plugin. Two way audio and HK secure video did work but the max res there was only 1536x432. This is a really nice camera but it’s not for me. Will be returning.

Great View
It took some playing with the DVR to get the longer image to look right with my other cameras on the DVR display. But after I got it to take two image spaces on the display, it has become my Go-To camera because it covers the entirety of my front yard. It has a clear image day and night. Also, the microphone picks up from over 60 feet away.

A terrible disappointment - very bad design
I've had a total of THREE of these cameras. The first one for my carport works OK, just OK. I decided to add a second for the front of my house. The first unit I received was completely defective. I wasn't happy, but Amazon very quickly replaced the unit. The second (functional) unit was a complete disappointment.Daytime performance is OK. My one significant complaint about the daytime performance is that the camera can't handle high-light situations. One section of my lawn, off to the far left of the camera range, gets quite a bit of light in the late afternoon. The grass turns a bright white blooming so bright that the entire area is not viewable.I also found that, while the camera boasts a 16 megapixel video capture, it must achieve this using two 8 megapixel cameras stitched together. I bought this camera to replace a 12 megapixel Reolink Camera (I wanted the full 180 degrees); however, the level of detail dropped off dramatically. Suddenly, I lost much of the detail when I zoomed in on distant objects. The huge disappointment, however, is the nighttime performance. It is just terrible. I added three pictures to this review. The first (and darkest) one is actually with the spotlight turned ON! The other two are the normal nighttime performance. It is truly useless at night. The left camera has a permanent blur in the picture. Any light in the area causes large, blurred areas in the picture. I checked to make sure there was no moisture on the inside of the dome or the lens, but nothing helped.Fortunately, I was able to slip in on the last day of the return window and requested a return. Amazon is great about that! I have six other Reolink 12 Megapixel cameras in operation around my house, and they work flawlessly. I think Reolink just missed big time on this design.
