Was skeptical after reading reviews, but I LOVE IT!
I was a tad skeptical after reading some of the bad reviews, but so far I LOVE IT! 1. I love the snooze feature, and I have used it for 4 nights in a row, and no problems. It does not snooze for so long that you fall back into a deep sleep...but it is also not too short, that it is annoying. 2. Setting it is super easy...and this is coming from someone who HATES setting alarm clocks 3. It has military and regular time! I love military time! 4. You can set it for vibrate only, beep only, or both together. I just use vibrate, it is plenty loud for me, and I hate high pitched beeping alarm clocks...they hurt me in my soul! This makes me so happy to wake up. The beep is loud if needed, but not outrageous! 5. The light works good....its sorta funny since it is not a backlit feature, it is a little light that shines onto the face....so not the best, but works just fine. I dont feel that it would get turned of while I am sleeping under my pillow....I just dont see how that could happen. I love it...works....its easy....small...and lightweight for travel!

Shakes you up....
I purchased this item because I wanted a small and portable alarm that could wake me when I travel, yet not be so loud and annoying that it would wake others around me. To that extent, this item does very well. The vibration is strong enough that you can place this under your standard pillow and you will definitely feel it vibrate. Much stronger than a cell phone vibration, but not as strong as one of those small battery powered handheld massagers...close though. The buzz setting is another option, but it's your typical travel alarm buzz setting. Loud enough to wake light sleepers, but most people will probably sleep through it. A simple yet nice feature is the included clip. You can clip this alarm to your pillow case, clothing, or another similarly thin item to prevent the alarm from moving around too much. Very useful for those that tend to move a lot in their sleep. Operation is very simple... -1 switch on one side to choose between vibrate, buzz, or vibrate & buzz -1 switch on the other side to choose between alarm on or off -buttons on top of the flip-up clock to set time and alarm That's pretty much it. Simple yet effective. ****After using this at home on a consistent basis I learned to turn off the alarm without even waking up. To prevent this, I now place this alarm on my desk instead of under my pillow so the loud noise created from the hard plastic vibrating against my wooden desk wakes me up.****

Great choice
Great choice, easy to set up, easy to work, not too many choices, color fun, speed of setup, fast, thickness - doesn't get in the way of putting under the pillow

Forget 6 alarm clocks across the room. This one does the trick.
Traveling for work? Living the hotel life? If you're a heavy sleeper like me, this alarm clock is a must-have. Its compact size means it fits perfectly in any suitcase, backpack, or even your pocket. Just set the alarm and slide it under your pillow before you go to sleep. It won't jolt you out of bed or anything. Instead, it vibrates just enough to say, "Hey, you, it's time to get up." I'm not talking about that cranky front desk wake up call on the phone from 1986 either. Just buy it, try it, and fall in love with it.

Failed after a month! Tedious warranty process! Buy something else
SUMMARY: This so-called "SonicAlert alarm" failed to live up to its name after a month, and the supposed warranty shows a lack of confidence and seems intentionally tedious. Ultimately, this dumb red clock, with its perfectly silent and still "alarm," resulted in my oversleeping multiple mornings and wasting hours over multiple weeks on their tedious warranty process and testing and replacing batteries. I would rate the clock 5-stars after a day and 1-star after a month for the failure of its alarm and painfully tedious warranty. Buy something else. FAILURE AFTER A MONTH: If you want a perfectly silent and still "alarm" with a tedious warranty process, this might be just the alarm for you! Would you like me to post a video of how silent and still this alarm is when it goes off? WARRANTY FLAWS: After the one-month Amazon seller period, the company requires an email, answers from a no-reply address so you cannot simply reply to sender, requires information even if you already provided all that information in your original message to them, then opts whether or not to honor their warranty, and requires you to mail the product at your experience and hope they "approve" the warranty they owe you. How confident is this company in their products? How easy will they make the warranty process for you? Let's quote how the company describes its warranty in its return emails! • "We do not grant warranty requests for products received through a state or governmental program, agency, or department." • "International product purchases on Amazon or elsewhere are not covered by the Sonic Alert warranty." • "Within the warranty period, your product will only be replaced once." (Even if their lousy products continue to fail monthly?) • "If we receive your product past the warranty date or the return has not been authorized, Sonic Alert will refuse to replace your product." • "You can have your product shipped back to you at your expense. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay for the return shipping of the unauthorized return. Sonic Alert will retain the product for 30 days and then discard it." (Wow, we can pay to get this lousy paperweight returned?) • "Products that are purchased through eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or other unrecognized sellers are not covered with a Sonic Alert warranty." • "We are not responsible for any products sold through eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or unrecognized sellers. If a product is returned to us and has been purchased via eBay, unauthorized Amazon sellers, or other unrecognized sellers, it can be shipped back to the customer at their expense. You will be billed by Sonic Alert for the shipping expense our business incurs." • "To be considered for a Sonic Alert warranty replacement, you must submit the following information with the reason for the return to [email protected] or 850 Stephenson Hwy., Suite 323, Troy, MI 48083..." (In reply to my message that included all the information they requested already including my name, address, Amazon purchase date and order number...) SUGGESTION TO SHOPPERS: Although you want a loud vibrating portable alarm clock, avoid my regret at buying this worse than useless product. Find an alarm that works. SUGGESTION TO COMPANY: Make a long-lasting product, and streamline your warranty process for all authentic Sonic Alert products.

Strong vibration will wake anyone up. Wish it had a battery low indicator though.
I am very familiar with and like Sonic Alert products so I chose their travel alarm clock when I needed one. It was a good choice although I wish a couple of things were different. This round alarm clock comes with a nice zip around carry bag. It has a tough ribbon with a clip on it to attach it to a pillow case or wherever you set it. That's a good idea so it doesn't get lost or drop out of bed when you're asleep. This unit takes two AA batteries and one AAA one which are included. The smaller battery is for the light on the display and the others are for the alarm. Setting the time and alarm are very simple. No instructions needed. You can choose to wake up by a buzzing/alarm sound, a strong vibration, or both. I am hearing impaired and can't even hear the alarm but I sure can feel the vibration! It's very strong. I love that this clock allows me to infinitely hit the snooze button. I hate when an alarm gives me just one or two chances then stops alerting me to wake up. I usually just fall back to sleep. This one goes until you manually turn the clock off. All that is great and it works wonderfully. It work me up several times with a vibration that I could not ignore. But there are a couple of things that I wish were different about this clock. For one, there is no indicator that the batteries are getting low. They just say that, when the alarm or vibration are weak, to change the batteries. That makes me nervous. If the batteries die, I won't wake up in time. Also, the light that illuminates the time is just a little orange one that points toward the numbers. It is not back light. I don't really care much about that but it seems that the numbers should be lit up by default but, of course, that takes battery power. Otherwise though. this keeps time well, shakes me awake with a very strong vibration, and is portable for travel or to use anywhere that an outlet isn't available. I used it when I slept on the vouch the other night. I put it next to my head clipped to the pillow and it did its thing. I was worried it wouldn't but it came through perfectly. I trust Sonic Alert and have two of their plug in clocks that are wonderful for someone who needs a shaker or a very loud alarm. I will just change the batteries when I sense the vibration is not as strong as usual. Maybe I will get some rechargeable ones and charge them each time I use the clock so I know they are fresh. Either way, this works for me and I am happy to have it. My Fitbit was my alarm but it only vibrates once then stops and I often fell back to sleep.

Great buy
Small but powerful. It wakes me up every morning. While allowing my wife to remain asleep. Wish I would’ve found this years ago. Great value, fun colors too.

Love-Hate Relationship. Perfect if you don't mind replacing it regularly.
***Update! After another one of these stopped working within just a few months, I found a much better option! Look up the Mesqool Vibrating Alarm Clock!*** I have a sleeping disorder for which I take medication twice each night: once at bedtime and once four hours later. With this product, I never miss my second dose and my spouse's sleep is not disrupted by a loud alarm. The vibration only setting and pillow clip are the two features that keep me coming back despite the fact that the product is practically disposable in terms of longevity. I'm not exaggerating. I just placed my fourth order for this product after the third one's display stopped working last night. First Purchase: August 22, 2018 Second Purchase: February 21, 2021 Third Purchase: December 10, 2022 Fourth Purchase: July 6, 2023 This is the first time it failed within the 1-year warranty period. Because my quality of life depends on it, I can't wait around for a warranty replacement. But I did file a claim. If the claim is approved, I will stash the replacement for when the one I just purchased inevitably fails. The first time it failed, it was just the snooze button that stopped working. While, I don't use the snooze button in the traditional sense, it helps me stop the vibration quickly, as it is easily pushed quickly to turn off the vibration. Then I can turn on the light and slide the side button from on to off. The opposite side has identical slide button for vibration only, alarm only, and both. It's hard to discern which side is off and which side is on in the middle of the night. I gave that one to my dad to use as a travel clock. The second one failed when it stopped showing the Z on the display after setting the alarm. It wasn't just the display, though. The vibration and alarm worked when I pushed the test button, but the alarm/vibration did not go off at the set time any more. And as I said before, the third one's display stopped functioning. I replaced the batteries to be sure, but was not surprised when that didn't solve the problem. Each time it fails, I search for a better option -- something that I won't have to replace as often. But I keep coming back to this because it checks boxes that other products don't. I like to sleep in the darkest room possible, so my spouse and I retired our digital display bedside clocks about 10 years ago. It seems like most of the shaker/vibration products out there are digital bedside clocks with a shaker attachment. It's a love-hate relationship. I keep coming back to this, for better or worse.

That's the best alarm clock I've ever had, it changed my life
I'm deaf so waking up by myself might be tricky, but after I purchased this alarm clock, I never get late, always wake up right on time. The vibration level is pretty high, it vibrates a lot that you can feel the bed shaking. The sound alarm I've never used it but I have tested it and it's really loud. I do recommend for deaf people and the ones that are looking for a no sound alarm.
