I bought these because I needed a bulk pack of hair-ties since I kept losing mine. One lasts for about a week of usage every day. I usually throw them away when the rubber band on the inside snaps. They stretch out easily. My hair is in between super thick and thick, and these hold my hair fine with 2 twists. I have yet to see damage in my hair from these after putting my hair in braids every night. Material seems to be a rubber band with fabric wrapped around it in an i-cord pattern that is fused together with some kind of glue. Overall, for the price they last a reasonable amount of time. I have yet to run out.

Really good for my big curly hair!

I first bought these just for my daughter as she has very thick hair. Every band we buy either breaks with the first use or is so tight we can’t even get it wrapped to secure her hair in place. Well let me just say these are a blessing. I can easily get it wrapped three times around her bun and not feel like it will snap. I was a little worried because they stretched so easily but soon as you let go they are tightened and hold her hair in place all night no more lose ends falling out of her bun. I decided to try them on my thinner hair and they are great holds my ponytail all day I don’t have to fix it and holds a bun all night. We will definitely be keeping these in our must have list and I recommend them to anyone need hair bands that don’t break.

I have been using these hair ties for years and am never going back to any other elastic. These hold my hair well without getting tangled or damaging my hair. They are comfortable to wear around my wrist, so I always have one at the ready. After many uses and daily abuse, they do get pilly and worn-looking. But I have never broken one. They can get overstretched, but a trip through the wash helps with that. My only disappointment is they don't come in more colours, and I wish there were more in a package (because my daughter keeps steeling them!)
