A great way to enjoy cayenne pepper without all of the additives in the powder that's sold at the store. I am especially sensitive to the anti-caking ingredients which is a source of irritation. better than I even anticipated

Can't really give a dried pepper a grade for freshness(?), but I can say they were clean, seemed properly dried, no waste or culls or odd inclusions in the bag, and the flavor is good. I got the 8 oz bag and will have enough to keep my friends and coworkers in ground cayenne for a year! Just the right heat to snap up pizza and pastsa.

I made Asian sauce using this spice and was it uplifting. It will take me awhile to go through this bag as they give you lots.
