Suction cup is pretty large so it won’t work if you have small tiles. It will secure to the bath tub and our dog is small, so it works well that way.

I recently (within the last week) adopted a little black GSD from the local shelter. She's a doll, but I had no idea how she'd respond to a bath. Dogs from shelters are always a risk, and sometimes they'll have anxiety over things you wouldn't expect. Rather than attempting a bath and getting a half-shampooed, half-dirty, fully-wet GSD running around the house I decided to be proactive and pick up one of these.The premise is simple: it's a suction cup that you attach to a flat surface in your bathroom, and on it is a clip to attach a lead. Push the suction cup against the surface, push down the lever, and voila. This way you have your dog tethered in your bathtub/shower, much like at a grooming station.It was a little trickier to use it because my bathroom doesn't have tile walls. The walls are stucco. However, it did attach to the bathtub itself once I found a surface that wasn't so curved. You may run into problems if you have small tiles on your wall as the cup needs to maintain an airproof bond to the surface.It certainly works! The hold is strong and I wouldn't be surprised if my 55 lb dogs full weight could pull against it. I didn't need to find out for sure as it turns out my dog is tickled by water, but I'm lucky.Overall, I recommend!

I've tried cleaning the suction cup as well as multiple flat surfaces with all kinds of cleaners. No matter what I do, it just doesn't stick.

Sadly would not stick to tub or shower tile, I cant use it any other way

So far it is a very strong suction and holds my 40 lb puppy well during bath time. I don't really understand the leash that came with it because it is pretty thin, flimsy and stretchy which is great for bath time and easy to dry, but it is quite long and it seems like there's a loop on one end and a slip collar on the other end. Came with a carabiner clip also. So still trying to figure out the best way to secure my pup with the included leash. The instructions did not include leash use. The suction also has an attached lid that cannot be removed with in use. It is nicely packaged, and otherwise it seems like a good quality product
