Do I need to install the four shipping bolts to secure drum before tipping washer sideways for hose repair? Don't want to break bearings when tipping

We did not do that, I read through all the reviews and tips - do that if you haven't already -- The part in question is very easily accessible if one just tips the washer so that the window faces the ground. use towels for cushion and have someone help you tip it. The part we took out looked fine as someone else said the same thing, we replaced it with the new part and no more leak. Huge savings

Will this fit LG front loader model WM0642HW? Mine is leaking now and it's not from the front. Thanks.

Looks like it will but go to this website to double verify and also if you can get to the part that's leaking it will have a part number one it.http://www.washerpartsworld.com/brands/lg/wm0642hw

Will it fit wm8000hva ?

My Washer Model is WM2801HLA. I do know it fits multiple models. I would find a part diagram and trace back to part number.

Will this work for model mw3270cw? i can’t find it in the description. 🤷🏻♀️
