The dog leash for you!
This is a great dog leash. I have a 60 pound dog and an 80 pound dog. This is great with both of them. Easy to connect to a harness of collar. Very strong.

A better mousetrap
We've always had small dogs. Twine would be enough to hold them. Our new puppy of 5 months already weights more than all the others combined. She chewed through her old leash. We got another nylon one and the holding loop cut my hands. My wife can't walk the dog due to puppy's strength. So I went looking for a better leash, not really knowing what I needed. Found this leash quickly and saw a similar leash $5 cheaper which I almost got until I saw a review about how it cut the owner's hand. The listing here said the handle was padded. Got it, and it's a heavy leash. This thing is designed for giant dogs but will work really well for my 40 lb puppy (and eventual 70 lb dog). I like the stretch. She'd been yanking my arm off suddenly haring off in a different direction. The shock absorber works well. I particularly love the handle for controlling the dog. I'm 6'2", puppy is probably a foot and a half now, two feet high in the next few months. It's a good height. I can slide my hand down the stretchy cord, grab the handle and still stand up straight and control the pup. The clasp is unique. Because it's for big dogs, it's a heavy-duty clasp that works like a carbinger. It has a slider that you pull down and then it can open. Early in the morning, my foggy brain can have a problem with that, but I do like it. It's cruddy to have a good leash where the clasp breaks. Very happy with this leash. Good job people!

Sturdy and I already bought another one
Very well built, handle has a thin but very noticeable comfort cousin inside, car belt buckle has bungee strap that holds it flat against leash when not in use, the bungee part is soft enough for my 20 pound dog but not wimpy so would be good for larger dogs too, the non stretch part of the leash is two thick straps much stronger than standard leashes and has a bit of a stretch to it as well, the coloring is great nice and bright (I got orange,) the d ring at the bottom is attached well and not some thin metal loop it is solid metal just like the seat belt clip, the handle at the bottom is good (could be easier to grab inside the loop hole,) the latch on the end is sturdy and has a locking cover (could be better if it was more like the twist lock on a climbers carabiner.) All that being said this thing is amazing and a great price too for the quality of the built and materials. I ordered a green one with in a couple hours of having the first one, it is that great.

Feels and looks great! (orange)
I purchased this two months ago but haven't been able to use it quite as much as I'd like. Being in Florida, you can only safely walk your dog in the morning or late evening especially where I live with black asphalt. Still, we've been on 20 or so walks and used it for a meet and greet so I think that's a good use point to be able to review it. The main dog we've used it on is about 63 lbs, AmStaff mix. Second dog is a 75 lb German Shepard mix. The third was a little Terrier mix with the pulling power of a mack truck. It's HEFTY. It feels strong, well-made, and durable with heavy stitching and weighty material. The only problem on the build I have is the material on the inside of the hand loop could be more grippy/anti-slip. I often put the hand loop up my arm on my bicep which allows a less-bouncy hold, keeps the dog to my side as opposed to in front, and allows easier access to pull the leash back when needed and access the shorter hand grip. I feel like it slides down my arm more often than my other leash. When necessary to use, the shorter-length hand-grip has been easy to grab and effective. The orange color and leash in general does not feel highly reflective to me when used at night. It's clearly visible, but I didn't feel it was more reflective than other leashes. That being said, the bright orange in general is highly visible. So much so, my SO doesn't like the leash out in the open in the house because it offends his eyes. Haha. The clip is good and bad. It feels indestructible. But the securing slip over thing for the clip does not always want to engage or more importantly, disengage. For that reason, I don't really use it. During the meet and greet, this leash was used on two different dogs and held them back with ease. The elastic extendy part was undamaged despite being pulled to full length repeatedly, the clip held perfectly, and all was well. The only thing I could ask is for a second clip/the ability to get a second clip head in the order to use on the seatbelt buckle. I'd like to be able to easily clip my dog to a fence or around the leg of a bench or whatnot. She sits perfectly and waits for me to undo the leash and loop it through the handle around a fence or whatnot but it'd be much easier and faster with a simple clip. Overall, I highly recommend this leash!

Seriously over-engineered leash, leaving nothing to be desired!
Well thought out, designed and executed product. The leash is made of thick, durable material, has the awesome seatbelt clip, comfortable handle and even a green reflective patch for extra visibility. The stretch portion is very cool, as it eliminates the snap of the pull from my dog. I have only had it a few weeks now, but it still retracts the way it did when it arrived, even with all my ~70 lbs dog pulling on it ( we walk ~5 mi/day). Che clip is phenomenal, very large and strong and easy to clip onto the collar. The extra D ring is not a great idea in hindsight, as the poop bag holder I had clipped on it hit my dogs back as we walked. Simple solution though, I put the holder on the seatbelt clip loop. Also, the traffic handle may not be the easiest to grab as it is not looped outward, but is still very handy to have. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this leash, and consider all of its features revolutionary, think Prius vs. Lamborghini...

THE BEST LEASH, HANDS DOWN.
We have a Bernese mountain dog and for his entire life weโve used a retractable leash. I got so tired of the leash sticking, of him pulling like crazy, and of my arm getting darn near ripped out. Retractable leashes are convenient, but are NOT safe or good for training. This leash on the other hand is AMAZING! It took a few minutes to get used to but I was able to maintain control over my dog and not injure myself. When I unwrapped the leash I was disappointed because I thought it was going to be much longer, but after using it I can say that this is the perfect length. It is springy so it stretches a bit. I also love the lower loop handle that has a soft plastic like place to old onto it. I hope it lasts us a very very long time!

Solid Leash but not perfect
Let me start by saying the leash is solid. I like the padding on the handle, I love the reflectiveness of the orange one in the night, and if you have a black dog like I do I really value that the leash is reflective in case he gets off-leash. I also love the buckle, I don't think I will ever buy a leash again that doesn't have the car buckle attachment. The traffic handle is a great convince too, again I don't think ill ever go back to a leash without it. HOWEVER, the leash is far from perfect. First, the end collar attachment, I think that it is ok, but very flawed, a dog could easily get off. I was walking my dog and I didn't notice it but for the last probably third of the walk he wasn't connected because the latched opened up. The spin mechanism DOES NOT LOCK. I think that is a big problem, If the lash needs to do one thing its stay attached to my dogs collar/harness. That being said, I think that the mechanism is better than the standard one and if they just made it able to lock it would be the best version of that collar attachment I've seen on amazon. Second, I am not a big fan of the bungee cord aspect of the leash. I get the zero shock point of it but if you ever wrap the leash around your wrist or hand to get a stronger grip, the bungee makes that impossible. I don't even think the zero shock works, but i can't prove that. If the bungee wasn't the whole top 2/3rds of the leash i wouldn't have even mentioned it. Finally, I just wish it was a little longer or adjustable to 6-8ft or 6-10ft, but that's just nitpicking, you wont find a leash with everything this one has and that length.

Mediocre LED dog leash. Lights are bright
Easy to put together. LED is bright, the only con I would mention is I would love to see more LEDโs around the entirety of the collar.

Great leash
Not the best for training since it has elasticity but even then, pleased with leash.

Short lead
The lead is too small and the fittings not robust

Solid leash!
Solid leash. Like the extra handle. Perfect amount of bungee. The clip is a solid carabiner.
