MERITLINE Full Farmhouse Murphy Bed with Storage Drawer and Charging Station,Pine Wood Folding White Murphy Chest Bed Cabinet for Adults

Looks great and very solid cabinet overall. All major parts are solid pine, and a very nice glossy hardwood top. Assembly was straightforward, with a few exceptions, and took me 4 hours working by myself. 1. The pre-drilled holes for the large F bolts (pictured) were too small, and caused several of them to strip. Resizing the holes with a 15/64" drill fixed the issue pretty neatly, but I still need to address the ones that stripped. 2. Some pieces are slightly assymetrical, e.g. small pilot holes for the I screws, and the instructions don't point it out. I had to backtrack a few times, which I could have avoided with more attention to detail, or more helpful instructions. 3. The front hangs slightly assymetrical, and causes the clip to be misaligned. I've measured all the parts a few times and made sure all the fasteners are tight, and can't tell why it wouldn't fit. The finished product earns 5 stars, assuming I can fix the misaligned panel and stripped bolts which both seem to be problems I could have avoided during assembly.

It was very time consuming to put together. We had to make two trips to the hardware store to get parts to finish it. It looks nice once finished and so far it seems to work well. Not sure I would purchase another one but this one works for our grandkids.

Very happy with this item. We bought it to turn an office into another guest room. Took several hours for two smart adults to assemble, but under four hours. Stylish, solid construction. We changed the knobs but live everything else about it.

Overall good quality for the price. Compared to other solid wood Murphy/chest beds I looked at this was the most reasonable. I’m giving it a 4 because the paper instructions alone were not enough to assemble. Scan the QR code and watch the video as well. This has lots of parts. Paint job isn’t the best but overall I’d say this is worth what you are paying for.

DO NOT BUY!!!!! This product is absolute junk!!!! Missing hardware and holes not placed correctly. Too big to send back so I’m just going to make it work. Learn from my mistake people!!! Again DO NOT BUY!!!!

I love this murphy bed. I put it together myself over 2 days, about 4 hours each day. I could not find any video instructions but if you take your time with the visual instructions you should be ok. With the hardware a small allen wrench is included. This is ok for the smaller screws BUT DO NOT USE THE ALLEN WRENCH WITH THE 4 INCH "F" SCREWS. I stripped 4 and had to have a friend use a vice grip to remove them. However, I was able to contact the seller through Amazon and they kindly sent me the hardware I needed. Excellent customer service! Now, get yourself an electric drill, correct size bit, some wax and they'll screw in nicely.

If you like spending hours putting large furniture together with over 120 screws, hinges, brackets, and don't mind mediocre workmanship (some warped wood, small nicks in wood, poor alignment of holes, some stripped wood holes for some of the pre-installed hinges) at the price of this item... it may be right for you... not me.

Be prepared for a workout putting this beautiful heavy duty piece together! It is definitely worth it! Amazing bed!! Make sure to buy the 300 dollar trifold mattress on Amazon it def. makes a big difference! I also bought a mattress topper for this bed! The trifold mattress fits perfectly and can store it in there when closing the bed! The bed is solid pine! Heavy duty! It looks so classy and your guest will sleep so much better in this than any other blow up mattress! My husband slept on it for a few days and was very comfortable. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Because of the solid pine material! I didn’t want a cheap bed I wanted something that would last! I also loved the way it looks and the reviews!
