With the very reasonable price of this set - for ME the clamps ALONE would be WORTH it! I've tried to FIND similar clamps locally - which USED to be easy to find - but I've had no luck for YEARS! I've resorted to using "worm drive" clamps instead - and for some applications - like "corrugated" drain hoses - they just don't work as well as these simple spring clamps do. Took a chance that this "probably the right diameter" drain hose would be compatible with my 40 year old Hotpoint washer (What a CHAMP our old washer is - eh?!) and it works PERFECTLY. I was a bit concerned at first because the hose slipped on a little too easily - BUT The mighty spring clamps keep it SOLIDLY in place - with ZERO chance of ... OK I'll add that I PREDICT zero chance of leaks - not to jinx it! I can't get it to slip AT ALL - using my hand. Must also confess that these spring clamps are SO mighty - that I personally needed to use pliers to get them "open" enough to slide easily over the hose - so - maybe I just have a wimpy grip!

This was exactly what I was looking for. The drain hose is highly durable. It's a thick and yet flexible connector. It fits perfectly without any readjusting and was rather easy to connect to the washer that I am using. There's no leakage of the tube and the clamps are easy to retract and clasp onto the washer hose end. I have a portable washer, so the only downfall I would say is that the hose isn't as long as I would like for it to be. Overall, it's a great product and good quality material for a drain hose. *Make sure to check the measurements that you need for the washer. It was my error for not doing this beforehand. Either way, the drain hose works perfectly!

The previous owner/owners of the house we live in decided to install a very cheap plastic sink in the utility room, it makes opening the washer door nearly impossible without scraping the sink. I wanted to move the sink forward, but every hose I used to extend the sink's drain would just develop a small leak over time. Someone online advised to go with a Washer drain hose for the sink, and it worked! This hose just worked perfectly, and there are zero leaks under the sink. The hose itself is made of a very high quality material. I didn't feel like it was going to get destroyed in my hands, trying to fit it over the existing sink drain. Size is true to the description, and the spring-style clamps that come with the hose make installing it super easy.

This totally saved my LG toploading washer. the orginal hose developed a crack between two of the folds, and so water leaked all over the garage. to fix i simply opened up the back, popped out the old hose, slathered liquid rubber (I used flexseal but you can use others) over both ends, then clipped it back into place. works like a charm and no leaks now after 14 washes. comparing the two hoses this one is 100% just as good. a lot of times aftermarket is not quite as nice but this looks like it came out of the same factory. terrific value and works great. fairly easy to install, you just have to push your washer out and be willing to get a bit dirty.
