Received this product today, and am delighted. My mother has a Syrian friend that introduced me to Za'atar and this is now my new addiction. He claims that he brought his Za'atar back from Syria, but I have my doubts after tasting Z&Z Za'aatar, too similar. With that being said, I spent over several hours researching Za'atar to find the perfect blend of seasonings/flavors. Each country (and region) has their own unique blend. This Za'atar is exactly what I was searching for. The flavor is amazing and I'm so happy with this purchase. Yes, price wise it is higher than most but so worth the price. Will continue to purchase this going forward. I'm not Middle Eastern; however, I know quality ingredients. Give this a try!

I use it on hummus. Reminds me of our time in the Middle East. Yummy.

Love this product, i was send zataar from a friend in Alexandria Egypt & this is as close to hers as i can find. Delicious on roti, kebabs grilled vegetables, tabouli...youre only limited by your imagination. I wish it was in larger container as i use it on almost everything. Was fresh, smelled wonderful...i had to taste it immediately YUM! Good size to buy if youre unsure if youll like it.

This is a tasty blend of sesame seed, marjoram, sea salt, thyme, oregano, cumin, sumac, and salt. A great addition to olive oil for dipping your pre-dinner bread. It has a muted woodsy taste and can be sprinkled on almost any entrée for an added pop of flavor. I never heard of this seasoning but gave it a try because it sounded like it would be good with just about anything. Wow, were they right! If you want to add a little Mediterranean-spice kick to your plate, this seasoning does the trick. Easily took any dish I was making and made it so much more flavorful - chicken, fish, mixed in with grains or rice, even as a topping to avocado toast for a quick bite. I've added this spice mix to so many things. It goes really well with eggs actually. The aroma and freshness of these spices are incredible! More so than other well known brands. I highly recommend giving this one a try. You won't be disappointed!

Very, very pleased! I bought this on Amazon for a specific recipe. With everything purchased online, you may have concerns about the quality and with food the freshness! Don't be! This is delicious, fragrant, and I didn't have to battle with the Thanksgiving grocery store frenzy! It came the next day and it's for a recipe I'm making tomorrow. Finding specialty herbs, seasoning, and ingredients can be difficult, so don't hesitate with this one! I look forward to my Middle Eastern inspired roasted sweet potato wedges! It's also going to be used in so many other ways! Thinking popcorn, scrambled eggs, cottage cheese. And so much more ;-)

This is just a great product in its flavor and usefulness. I love this with bagels and cream cheese or a dash on pita bread and olive oil. Well worth the money.
