understand how cheap this is and how much there is and it is totally worth he price ! Once you look to add more than the free stuff, the prices at my time of purchase were 10-20 bucks per grouping or expansion pack. BUT since I bought everything at once I got them ALL for 34 bucks. So I have around 30 pedals. 30 amp heads 20 mics, and so on and so on. It has a built in tuner, metronome and recorder. The best part of the recorder is you can play and record something and then without having to replay it, just select different sound options. Wanna hear echo, or delay or maybe some funky organ overlay ??? Just reselect the voicing and its that easy. It's hard to explain how versatile and fast this option is, never mind that you get ALLLLL features if you buy the package up front. I run it all through a home receiver and jam. Couldn't be any happier. It can be a little buggy at times but hardly ever and it's only for a second or so. This is NOT gig worthy but a ton of fun at home or with friends. I would buy again for sure but I have 70 bucks or so and so much to play with. Love it !

Does the job.This is not a knock on this particular product as ALL these devices with ANALOG input will induce NOISE into the line.My advice to anyone listening is to save up some more and get a DIGITAL input (i.e. lightning cable/USB for Ipad/Mac).Since Peavey doesn't offer the lightning cable product, look for iRig or Apogee units with the digital input. Day and night difference in SILENT sounding noise!Btw, Peavey's Revalver 4 amp modeller is amazing and worth the purchase. One of the highest rated products of its kind!

works I use my ipad works great, worth the price there is software that you may have to buy to get the amp and effects that you want, but there like $20 at the most, cheaper than a stompbox.

Bought as a backup for my iRig Stomp. This one offers better sound quality, and is of sturdy construction. Also, the AmpKit app is absolutely great! I've been using it live and in the studio for over 3 years, and can't praise it enough. Outstanding app, ant this device is awesome.

From the videos, it appeared to be just what I was looking for. Unfortunately, it did not work when it arrived. No signal to and from guitars. The headphone connection worked fine because I received a couple of calls while connected. The packaging was kind of rough looking also, possibly banged around a bit. I was going on a trip and looking forward to working with it. Very disappointed!

I purchased a first-generation Peavey Ampkit several years ago when I had my 3GS. It worked fairly well, aside from a few clicks and pops when you moved it. I lost it during a move recently and decided to give the new version a try.I was hoping that it would fix the issues from the previous iteration of the product, but alas, it has not.The case is still cheaply-made plastic, the cord still has nothing in the way of strain relief, and the popping and clicking noises are actually worse.The Ampkit software is solid, however. And since it will work with any iPhone interface, I'm going to be purchasing a different one soon enough.

This thing is a lot of fun! Sure, it doesn't provide the same sound quality as boutique amps and effects, but it certainly is a great tool for writing music and practice, especially for such a low price.

Haven't had any audio problems with it so far . I bought this ampkit instead of the jamup plug , I had 2 of them and they broke , so I decided to buy this instead . My only problem which seems to be my problem with all these interfaces is that they sit oddly on your iPhone . The interface and guitar cable always want to drop your phone off whatever it's sitting on . So place your phone somewhere comfortable first . The ampkit came with 2 free batteries, sounds good , I'm using it for GarageBand , bias , jamup , and peavey ampkit with out any issues . Buying this interface is a must have for using it on the peavey ampkit , it removes most of the feedback issues . It feels decently sturdy , I hope it can outlast a jamup plug .

The device itself works great with no issues at all.A lot of great sounding amps as well, especially once you start customizing the sounds.

Hooks up easily to an iPhone but have to find the right app to get it to work on a Android.
