Great value, nice consistent quality
Nice quality, great price. Color as shown. Thicker, but not so heavy as to add extra postage. Very happy with quality for price. Minimal transparency, smooth texture finish prints well and stickers adhere easily. Seals well.

Good quality.
Wonderful quality and very strong. These are my go to envelopes as they are both professional looking as well as durable. Cost wise they are going to set you back a lot more than your local superstore brand so you may have to decide if the benefits are worth the extra cost to you. It should be noted that these are not self sealing and do not claim to be so if you are put off by the traditional lick seal envelopes these are not for you. The texture of the cotton paper is lovely and defiantly presents your letter well at first impression.

Nice
Looked good with the Christmas letter paper for our homes association holiday mailing. The paper for these envelopes looks elegant and were a nice creamy color. The price was good. However I knocked off one star because we had some trouble sealing them

Wonderful, business-building envelopes, but if you use toner-based printing, be ready to cover surfaces with tape, etc.
My wife and I are the owners of a small law firm. A few years ago, we settled on these linen envelopes and the 32lb "business"-style paper from Southworth as our go-to combination for mailings to clients, prospective clients (in those instances when we do solicit), and opposing counsel. I've gotten used to getting unsolicited compliments from clients about our paper, probably once every 2-3 months. The only drawback to the linen envelopes is that the toner from laser jet-style printers [as opposed to ink from ink jet printers] seems to have trouble adhering to them, probably due to their irregular texture. I didn't notice this myself until a few "undeliverable" mailings came back to our office over several months while we were using these envelopes. Those letters had not been delivered due to other, unrelated factors such as change of address, but I was almost horrified to see how the printing had mostly rubbed off the envelopes while in transit. We didn't want to stop using the envelopes, so, instead, we now cover the delivery and return addresses with good old, carefully-but-quickly-cut scotch tape to protect the printing. Now, it looks like we printed a label out on some clear adhesive label medium, when all we really did was to cover addresses with tape. The take-away here is that if you are using toner, you will almost certainly have to cover the printed areas with tape or find some other work-around. If you are using something like an ink jet, it probably won't be a problem. Despite this one and only issue, we really like these envelopes enough to write and post a 5-star review.

High Quality, low cost!
First, the box is small and compact so I can leave it right beside my printer. Second, the quality of the envelopes are great. Third, you save a lot of money buying the 250 pack on this site. A pack of 50 of the same envelopes on competitor sites are $15.00 / ea. By paying $40.00 for the 250 pack here I saved $50.00. :)
