I’ve been trying to find a product that doesn’t dry out my hair within 3 hours of use & this product blew me away, it kept my hair moisturised throughout the entire day & my hair doesn’t even feel dry in the morning after like it usually is, my hair always feels moist & healthy.

Works well. Needs a lot of rubbing into hair. Nice thick crème. Good smell

I started using this product as soon as it arrived, today 13/01/2026, my hair is till moisturized feeling soft, so far excellent results. Wish I knew about this sooner.

If you’re sensitive to scent dont buy this. It has a strong tropical fruity smell that I cant get past personally, so I gave it away. I’ve heard great things about this product though so I’m sure it works great!

I can confirm that it is a great moisturiser. I am 4c with high porosity (my hair loves oil). I recently decided to let my hair breath (my hair was braided 365 days a year). I initially only put water and oil on my hair every evening then braided my hair for the first 10 days, realised my hair did not retained moisture at all and my hair was becoming too oily. I decided to add TGIN daily moisturiser (in addition to water (with bit ACV) + oil) as it had great reviews from many nappy youtubers. After 2 or 3 days I saw a big difference, my hair was no longer dry (especially at the back of my head) at the end of the day. In addition to daily moisturising and evening braiding, I do a wash day every week/other week, with shea moisture castor oil range (shampoo, mask, live in).

Very hydrating love this product for light weight hydration when my hair is straight.

Pardon the image being blurry but the ingredients list differs from what is listed on the product page on Amazon, so I am hoping this helps someone. I appreciate that I liked this product despite my prior experience with it and apprehension about the actual ingredients list. A good friend of mine swears by this stuff. I was reluctant to use it because I didn't like that the ingredients incorporated cones or propylene glycol nor could I shake the "sore" feelings I had about using this product that had developed over the years because of the first jar. But, I summoned a little openness and there's been nothing but blue skies since. In using it I recalled that my main issue the very first time around was that the product didn't play well with other products. It made everything bead up and made a mess in my hair. This time I used it with nothing but a light leave-in. If you're interested the leave-in was Kinky Curly's Knot today. You don't need anything else with it. It has a bit of hold and it's moisture rich. Because of that, you don't need to use a gel or something with significant hold. I used it to do a braid out. It was very defined and still soft to the touch. I know that's something some people struggle to find. Though I am used to a moderately full head of medium to long hair, healthwise, my hair is not in the best shape I've seen it in right now. After using this as my only styler and moisturizer on wash day, it's definitely feeling much better to the touch. Leaps and bounds better. Soft and supple but not weighed down, greasy, or sticky. My hair honestly feels amazing and this is coming from someone well aware that my hair is not technically at its best. This couldn't have come at a better time. I was starting to feel lost about what to do. My family was about to be surprised by a big chop. My hair isn't that bad off. I just don't have patience for damaged ends and dryness.

It‘s tgin, and tgin is awesome. What else is there to say? Smell? 10/10. Feel? 10/10. Hair softness? 10/10. Granted, it’s a bit pricey for me now, but one tub lasts me a good long while.
