AISINTHH-009 Engine Coolant Thermostat

Pulled out the old one and they look almost identical. I can't tell if the old one was OEM or have been replaced before. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars because it did not come with the O ring. You'll have to buy that separately, and I recommend you buy the same brand O ring as the thermostat.It has been only three days since I've installed it. Will update if it fails.

I bought this for my 2004 Acura MDX in Feb 2020, and it started to fail to open in September 2022 and overheated the motor. Original thermostat lasted 16 years, this one lasted two and a half. I was hoping for better by buying what was supposed to be OEM. I just replaced it with a $14 Duralast from Autozone, will see which one lasts longer.

I installed this on a 2011 honda odyssey I don't know of what I took out was the original the ban has 190k on it. The one in there was working fine but I was doing a bunch of other stuff and and it only made since to do this while I was at it. So far it works great

In my 10 Honda Odyssey, this thermostat is just like the OEM, with thick metal and a heavy-duty spring. See the picture with the OEM thermostat on the left and this one on the right. It installed with no issues or modification. The gasket is not included.

it was identical to the original oem for a 2012 odyssey. The price was significantely cheaper then the honda stealer.

Aisin is an OEM manufacturer for Acura and Honda parts. Put this on a 2007 Acura TL type S and it fit just like an original. Just remember the thermostat is directional. Line up the (unsupplied) gasket with the notch aligned and you’re in business.

Product came as advertised and really happy with product. 4 starts due to unit did not come with a new gasket. Had to reuse old one. Pic is the new thermostat with old gasket.
