Everything I have added it to has come out sweeter with none of that funky taste that you often get with sugar substitutes. I got tired of restaurants not having it in their selection of sweeteners on the table, so I bought a small, zippered pouch and carry little packets of Splenda with me. It is honestly that good. I find it easy to use and had no after taste in my mouth. I use it in my herbal tea so if it had any after taste I would have noticed (tasted)right away. Also being diabetic if l have to much of the real thing I experience pain that put me in the hospital. So I don't use the real stuff and find this is the next best thing
