Does this unit take into account its own length in the measurement

Thank you for your question. The GLM20 measures from the back of the unit so it does calculate the device itself. If you have further questions please feel free to contact our Bosch Customer Service Representatives at 1-877-BOSCH-99 (1-877-267-2499)

Does it measure in meters/centimeters.

Thank you for your question. The GLM20 will measure in feet and inches, inches only and meters, it does not measure in centimeters. If you have further questions please feel free to contact our Bosch Customer Service Representatives at 1-877-BOSCH-99 (1-877-267-2499)

The specs say indirect. Will it calculate the third leg of a triangle after measuring the first two legs?

Thank you for your question. The GLM20 does not have an indirect measuring feature. The GLM35 does, indirect measurement is the technique of using similar figures and proportions to find a measure. If you have further questions please feel free to contact our Bosch Customer Service Representatives at 1-877-BOSCH-99 (1-877-267-2499).
