Quality is questionable
I purchased this stock pot in September of 2024 and have been very happy with the stock pot until today. I have used it to cook pasta about 10 times and have had washed it after each use. Today I noticed that there is a chip on the outside and it has also has a small chip on the inside of the pan. This pot has been slightly used and I have no idea why the pot has not held up to average use of the product. I would not recommend purchasing this product.

Check upon delivery for imperfections in enamel!
As someone who already owns quite a bit of Le Creuset cookware, I was excited to add this 12-quart stockpot to my collection when I found it on sale. The Riviera color is absolutely stunning and looks beautiful alongside my other pieces.Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of the enamel on the pot I received. There is a noticeable bubble along the edge of the enamel that appears to be a manufacturing defect. I'm concerned that this area will eventually chip or allow moisture underneath, leading to rust over time. It makes me wonder if this was a factory-second piece, even though it wasn't advertised as such.I only hand wash my cookware, so I know it will be treated carefully, but I'm still worried about how this imperfection will affect the pot's longevity. For a premium brand like Le Creuset, I expect the finish to be flawless, especially since one of the reasons I invest in their products is because they last for decades.Overall, it's a beautiful stockpot and exactly the size I wanted, but the enamel defect keeps me from giving it a higher rating. If yours arrives without any imperfections, I'm sure you'll love it - but I'd recommend inspecting the enamel carefully when it arrives. I left mine in a box through the possible return window while I was moving, and now I am stuck with a pot with imperfections (I certainly would have exchanged this).

Beautiful Stock Pot but an Inauthentic Le Creuset
This is an absolutely gorgeous stock pot (10 quart Olive enamel on steel). Mine arrived blemish free but lighter than one might expect from a porcelain-enameled stock pot (it weighs less than my anodized aluminum Calphalon stock pot of similar dimensions). The metal is thin - you wouldn’t want to brown onions at full heat in the otherwise empty pot as you might do in a Dutch oven. It is not flimsy, but it isn’t rugged either. The pot is made in Thailand, so it does not pass as a genuine French-made Le Creuset. The pot heats up quickly but does not retain heat as long as other enameled pots in our kitchen. The white interior cleans easily and has not stained after 6 uses so far. It will likely chip if you drop it, but then so will any other porcelain-enameled product you may find.Despite the eye appeal, the stock pot is a bit overpriced for what you get. Purchase it only if you find it for sale at a discounted price. If you are expecting a genuine French-made Le Creuset you will be disappointed.
