The BEST!
Love this massage ball. So perfect for muscle massage and very easy to use. First Round Performance has the greatest sports and recovery tech. My husband has the athletic shorts and wears them to the gym daily! High quality products for sure.

Decent for feet
It works as a foot massager. Just throw it on the ground and roll it around with your foot. It's a bit awkward to use on your back. But it is a hard rubberish ball with nubs. Use it as you see fit. Magnetic? First ... why? Second ... just barely. I tried to feel a bit of magnetic force by passing it across metal objects... no detectable reaction. I pulled out the strong magnets. On one end I felt a slight pull or push. So, there is some small magnetic force on one end, the end that is labeled "MAG". But I'm still not sure what the benefit of that is. Either way, I got this as a massage tool.

4.5 - Solid and stimulating massage ball
I have tried many massage tools, due to chronic pain from arthritis and multiple spinal surgeries, including several massages balls. This is one of the best I have tried. Pros Size - a bit smaller than a baseball or tennis ball, but larger than most massage balls, so it can get larger knots Solid - has no give to it and is very solid. I didn't try it, but I really think you could stand on it and not damage it Knobs - they vary in size, so give variation in massage, also are perfectly rounded, not sharp Weight - it is slightly weighted, which helps it give better massage, and helps you control it better Cons This is just the nature of a massage ball, it's very manual, unless someone else is giving you a massage, you have to manually manipulate it I would give this 4.5 stars if I could, I save 5 stars for things that really wow me. Overall though, I highly recommend this massage ball.

Hard as a rock. Great.
This is a 2.5 inch diameter massage ball. Seems to be just the right size for working large and small muscles. There are small nodules on the surface in an elliptical pattern with the smallest being at the sides, gradually increasing in size until the largest in the center. There is absolutely no give to this ball, which I like for rolling. I've already used it to loosen up some tight muscles in my chest and around my shoulder. If you've never used a foam roller or massage ball to roll on before, it's gonna hurt at first. Usually quite a lot. But I was thankful after the pain died down and my muscles limbered again. The little nodules give this a good amount of traction as well as a bit more "dig", which helps to keep the ball from slipping out while you are rolling. I imagine this should last indefinitely unless your dog gets ahold of it.

Great quality massage ball
This is a pretty good quality textured massage ball for effective deep tissue massage and myofascial release techniques. It's meant to target muscle tension and soreness. The construction is very firm and beside using your hand to control the ball you can roll it along your posterior against a wall or similarly on the floor where you add pressure with your own body weight. The price point is reasonable for this quality massage ball. It's a great addition to my arsenal of massage tools.

Harder than lacrosse ball, size is perfect for muscle "nooks"
The First Round spiky massage ball is great if you have already used other types of roller balls in your fitness or cool-down routine. It might be a little too firm for those who are used to squishier options (like tennis balls). There is no bounciness on this product. It is hard, and exactly what I need sometimes! Get your mind outta the gutter!

I don't get the magnet but great massage ball!
I honestly don't understand what the magnet is for, it's not strong at all and I'm not wearing it to benefit from long-term use. But the ball is really hard (and decent weight!) and the nubs feel better than a smooth ball, plus they help grip my hardwood floor and yoga mat.

Looks nice and works good
Durable, firm with just a little bit of give, and it looks nice. Perfect for massage.

Would not recommend
I would not recommend, rolled in on bottom of my foot to help circulation and a hard round cyst formed. They ball is extremely hard and I would caution anybody to use lightly in case of tissue damage.
