Can this be mounted exterior? Is it weatherproof? I want to use it for my Polaris slingshot

I'm not to sure its weatherproof. I initially wanted to mount mines outside of the car but decided far up on the dash worked just as well. If I were to mount on a slingshot mount it with the cable coming out of the antenna in a downward position as to reduce the chance of water entering in that way.
