Horrible taste

I wasn't a big fan of these, I shared them around and it took a couple people before I found someone that wanted to take them off my hands. Texture and gumball wise, these are great and satisfying to chew, it's mainly the flavor and scent that's the issue for this one, and I imagine I'd like it better in a different flavor. Disclaimer, I love grape, even artificial, but this wasn't for me. The smell on opening the bag was very peculiar, I'd almost describe it as an artificial grape perfume or something. The first 10 seconds or so it tasted like it smelled, which wasn't good. If you've ever tried the Rosé Jelly Belly jelly beans, it heavily reminded me of those which I didn't like much either. Afterwards it tasted like artificial grape adjacent, just strange, it really wasn't for me.

They are fresh tasting, easy to chew, and tasty. They're sweet but not too sweet, and last about as long as I expect gumboil flavor to last. College Kid visited a few days after they arrived (and I had opened them and tasted them), spotted them immediately on the table, and carted a good portion of them back to his dorm mates. This 2-lb bag is bulk quantity, always good with college kids in mind. Recommended.

Loved the flavor. Blowing bubbles enjoyable!!

At first we enjoyed these ... however they got very rubbery and lost flavor very quickly... I'm kinda bummed

I really enjoyed these gumballs. They aren't grape flavored. They are a sweetened bubble gum. The sweet goes away relatively quickly, but the bubble gum flavor left behind still has a great taste. I was really impressed with the bubbles I could make with this gum. I'm chewed two of them and achieved the right texture, and then I started blowing bubbles. They make really firm bubbles. I made one bigger than my face. I stopped before it popped, because I was afraid of getting it in my hair, so who knows how big it would have gotten. I love these, and highly recommend them.

I don't chew a lot of gum because some has the potential to pull out fillings or mess up some of my dental work. That said, I do miss bubble-gum. These were surprisingly good! The Good: * Good, "bubble-gum" flavor. Yes, they are purple. No, they are not grape. * The flavor lasts for a good while. Strong for the first 10-15 minutes but still there over 30 minutes later. Kind of rare for gum these days. * Big bag of large gumballs. I don't feel like I need 3-4 pieces to have enough to chew on. * Decent price ($17.99 at time of review) for 2 lbs of gumballs (approx. 110 pieces) The Meh: * This one could go either way, but it's a big bag of gumballs that are not individually wrapped. I don't really have a problem with it, and if you are filling a gumball machine, it works. I can't put it in the candy dish at work though. To be fair, the pictures are pretty clear that they aren't individually wrapped and that this is a bulk bag. The Bad: * Nothing, actually really good. The Verdict: The price is good and if you are a gum chewer, you'll probably like these. They don't turn your teeth purple and are "bubble-gum" flavored, not grape. Recommend if you go through a lot of gum.
