FDW Female Mannequin Body Dress Form Sewing Mannequin Torso Manikin with Tripod Base Stand Adjustable Mannequin for Sewing Clothes Display

I purchased this mannequin for its adjustability and color. I’m 5'4" and needed something that could accommodate both my shorter height and the tall length of the gown I needed to mend. It adjusted effortlessly and worked perfectly for my needs. It’s also surprisingly sturdy, clumsy as I am, I managed to knock the solid wood top into the ceiling fan more than once while moving it from room to room. The removable wooden top held up well, as you can see in the photo. The tripod base is solid wood, and the adjustable pole and turn-screw are metal, giving it a stable, well-made feel. The body is styrofoam, so it can be used as a pincushion, which I actually appreciate. I originally bought it just to mend the gown, with the idea that I might use it again later, so this works perfectly for me. If you’re looking for a professional cloth-bodied dress form, this isn’t that, and it’s not priced like one either. At only $40, this mannequin did everything I needed, and the color is aesthetically pleasing as well.

Super easy to assemble and is a good quality. It's lightweight and easily adjusted

I ordered this item to use for bridal shower decor. I didn't unbox it until today when setting up. The return window is now closed but this item was janky. The box appeared to have been opened and retaped but all items were inside. The top black knob screwed in and was not secure. It was wobbly as if it would fall off. Then when attaching the mannequin body to the post for height, the screw that came with did not fit and the metal busted and split my thumb open. Ended up having to find another screw of my own and tape it to make it stay in place for the event. Very disappointed. Had I not realized this prior I would have returned item.

It is very cheaply made but I'm giving it 4 stars because it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. The stand isn't holding up well but luckily I have hobbies other than sewing so I can probably replace that fairly easily once it finally gives out. The bodice is what I was really after anyway. It's mostly carboard and plastic held together with hot glue but since I failed at making my own it will do for my random bouts of clothes making. Do not recommend buying if you're not good at creative solutions when it will inevitably break.

I bought two of these mannequins to display my mom’s and mother-in-law’s wedding dresses on my wedding day, and overall they looked great and served their purpose. The mannequins were sturdy enough to hold the dresses and helped showcase the beautiful heirlooms perfectly. However, one of the mannequins unfortunately broke during setup, which was stressful. Thankfully, our venue had an extra mannequin available, so we were able to use that without issue. If you need mannequins for a special event, these can work well, but just be aware that durability might be a concern. Overall, a decent product but handle with care.

It does what I need, it's definitely small so if you want to show a larger clothes on it that will be a problem. This is exactly as shown, it does not offset so that you could show pants on it for example. Easy to put together.

Belle grandeur

Very cheap materials. It’s made of styrofoam so far too lightweight. It wobbles when dressing it.

Not bad at all for a beginners dress form, but I would’ve liked maybe a thicker filling material or something slightly heavier as it is quite the light dress form as it is made out of foam. This one also isn’t adjustable. So it really only works for US size small-medium.
