How is this product different from the Harken hardtop hoist?

The size and functionality are the same, but we also provide free thumb screws and ropes, which can support ceilings up to 16 feet.

What is the purpose of the thumb screws?

The thumb screws can replace the original T-45 bolts used to secure the hardtop. They allow for tool-free removal and provide extra protection by preventing over-tightening, which reduces the risk of damaging the roof.

Is this product compatible with the roofs of other vehicle models?

The Jeep hardtop hoist makes it easy to store hardtops for Jeep, Ford, Toyota, Chevrolet, Land Rover, and GMC Jimmy, as well as kayaks, canoes, and rooftop cargo boxes.

Can the lift system be used in garages with low ceilings?

Yes, the lift system is adjustable to accommodate different ceiling heights. However, it's important to ensure there is enough clearance between the lifting arms.

How easy is it to install the lift system?

The lift system is designed for easy installation. It comes with clear instructions and all the hardware needed for setup. Most users find the installation process straightforward, and it can typically be completed in 4-6 hours.
