This is a good product. The formula is good so far for my dry eyes. I am not sure if the formula is right for me yet. Seems to be good! I probably prefer individual use packaging for peace of mind there isn’t germs possible.

We have this set up on a subscription. I waited for a few rounds of deliveries so that I could really evaluate it. My hubby had Bell's Palsy a few years ago, and ever since then, he's had trouble with dryness in the eye that was affected. He's been using this and it works well for him. This week, we got him set up for cataract surgery, and the doc told him to use drops for dry eye many times a day leading up to the surgery. He showed the doc this bottle of drops (he had it in his pocket) and the doc approved of this brand. The doc told him this was a good choice and to continue using it.

This EXTRA really means extra! I like the using the regular Dry Eye Theraphy by ThearTears, and have been using it for a few years now, but this Extra gives a bit more relief and seem to last longer during the course of the day. I put just one drop per eye. Having tried these brands in preservative free vials and bottles any where from 6 mos-3years: Bion Tears, Systane Ultra- my second best, Refresh, Soothe, I find TheraTears and now ThearTears for EXTRA Dry Eyes works the best for me. Combine these eye drop treatment and twice daily warm/hot compresses over the eye, I find my dry eye relief is substantially better. I was on XIIDRA prescription eye drops for over a year and it helped my dry eyes ALOT. I was having BIG headaches for 2-3 mos, a couple of them were stabbing sharp pains behind the eye/head which I never experienced before, ever, finally with visits to the Optometrist, Primary doctor, and Opthalmologists I was prescribed XIIDRA, hot compresses, eye relief breaks from computer every 20 mins, eye breaks.... this has helped very nicely. My eyes are over 55 years and has served my close up work very well, but they need much more care and attention then they use to. I highly recommend this OTC extra dry eye drops. Also, my first order to Amazon was not correctly delivered, they had delivered the Regular dry eye drops, I called and spoke to a live human Amazon customer service and they graciously mailed the right product expeditiously. These drops are thicker than most and take a while to absorb, so reading anything like a phone or computer screen is blurry for several minutes afterward. I'm not sure if that is from the active ingredient, or a preservative. I prefer a lighter eye drop, more like basic saline, for occasional dry eyes. My personal favorite is becoming harder to find, especially on Amazon. I use a CPAP which can blow into my eyes if my mask is not sealed properly. This is the cause of much of my dry eye symptoms. My eye doctor suggested a "nighttime" eye drop which are typically thicker. These TheraTears drops are ok at night before bed when I will not be reading or watching anything before falling asleep.
