I’m very happy with this CarPlay screen. The setup was quick and straightforward, and it connected to my iPhone without any issues. The display is bright and responsive, and Apple CarPlay works smoothly. It’s a great solution for adding modern features to an older car without replacing the factory stereo. The sound quality is good, and the touchscreen is easy to use while driving. Overall, this is an excellent product for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable CarPlay upgrade.

It’s works very well, when I get back into the vehicle, the CarPlay, hooks up the unit real quick. No lag time for the most part. I’d say about 98% is ready. Once in awhile I have to turn power off or disconnect from power source, then good to go. Would be nice if it came with a shade so the screen doesn’t get lost in the sunlight. But otherwise I’d give it 95% thumbs up. Purchased the shade separately. It does cover the screen. Would of been nice if covered the entire unit. But the price, not bad

Returning it after having it for less than 24 hours. I should have trusted the reviews, but I’ve purchased so many things that had terrible reviews and worked great for me. This is one I should have listened to. The $15-20 car Bluetooth speaker phones have better sound than this does. My phone has better sound quality than this. My radio doesn’t work, so using an aux it’s for the sound to come out of the car speakers was never an option for me. The Bluetooth has turned off 4 times in the two times I have driven since receiving this yesterday. When it is connected, the sound will cut in and out multiple times. The screen itself is too heavy for the stand that comes with it. I set it up in my car yesterday. A couple of hours later I go to leave, and the stand has fallen off. Got everything situated again and thought I was good to go. When I left for work this morning, it had fallen again and will no longer stick at all. I’m going back to a speaker that connects to my visor. This was not worth it at all. I had also already decided not to use the backup camera because the install video they show basically has you taking parts of your car apart to hide the wires.

It technically does the job, but there are some hiccups. After only one afternoon in the hot car, the adhesive melted and the screen flopped right off the dash. The aux cord makes a crackling sound and no amount of fiddling with it helped. The sound still comes out clear through my cars speakers, so it doesn’t affect the sound quality, just an annoying sound to have in the background. When connected to my phone, my phone lags a lot. Pros: it connects easily to my phone when I start the car, screen is clear, and it’s easy to use.

Overall this is a solid product for this price point. The screen is good quality and functions very well as a plug and play add on. Bletooth audio quality and ease of connectivity are well appreciated. My truck didn’t have a great place to dash mount the screen but I was able to remove the ball mount and slide mount the screen directly onto a vent for a nice sleek mounting option. Two small detractors that kept me from giving a five star review are the following: 1-The audio equalizer does not re-engage when I start the car so if I don’t manually go into the settings and re-select an EQ preset, the audio sounds muted and thin. 2-The backup camera while totally functional, is a rather low resolution and worse so in the dark. Useable but not as good as others I’ve used in the past. Overall I’d still recommend this product for the value/ quality combination.

I didn’t want to deal with ripping out my dashboard just to get modern features, so I gave this portable CarPlay screen a try, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. The whole setup took maybe 10 minutes tops: mount it, plug it in, connect your phone once, and it basically runs itself after that. Every time I start the car, it reconnects automatically which makes it feel way more “built-in” than I expected. CarPlay runs smoothly for everyday stuff like maps, music, and calls, and I’ve been using it daily without issues. I especially like using voice control so I’m not constantly reaching for my phone while driving. The screen is responsive and clear enough for navigation, and having everything on a bigger display just makes driving easier overall. What really sold me is how flexible it is; you can route audio however you want (Bluetooth, AUX, etc.), and the mirror feature is a nice extra when you want it. It’s not perfect, the screen can be a little harder to see in super bright sunlight, but for the price and convenience, that’s easy to overlook. If you have an older car and want CarPlay without spending hundreds on a full install, this is such a simple, worthwhile upgrade.

Works well at updating the feeling of your old car but, the display does not dial in for a good look even while adjusting hue contrast resets back to bad displays. Hard to see while driving It took me a minute to get the car speakers to work on the android set up because, I lost the book you just need to hit tx transmit and dial your radio and the TX on the most un- used station . Then when it makes as little pop sound it means it has joined in wireless to it and your voices from phone calls hand free work on your car stereo speakers and your navigation map I have Sirrus satellite radio and I can use my phone to select station if it doesn't do it by my voice sometimes. But it usually will find songs by artist or title but I don't know the channels for all my favorite stations so need to program the favorite stations and lock them in the library on the phone to have them on this device. Also if like me you loose little booklet the Amazon page you bought it from has a PDF copy of it available , you should grab that down to your phone " Just in Case Get it right now " to have it in case they stop selling this device on here. You will have it to pull up on your phone . Or if you switch from Android phones to iPhones or vice versa. It is an awesome device for people who have older cars and if you want it to fit in to look like it was factory. You can buy a mounting bracket holder that slides into your cd slot on your radio if your using a CD player stereo set up. My stereo is a 6 cd changer stereo so , I don't want to take out all six CD 's or chance damage anything if it was only a one cd player only then I would just take it out and slide in that holder I may take out my Cd 's if I find I am only using them rarely now with all my satellite stations I may use them less and if I am not using the device for a long time 6 will just use my phone as navigation and use my car stereo as I use to but , I like the Bigger screen for maps and it has split screen to show both maps and my Sirrus station at same time , it also allows the navigation voice to not interrupt my song but to temporarily come in with her commands a bit louder you know like " At the next set of lights ,take the right hand turn " etc. if the display was better I would have given it all (5) Five Stars .

I’ve had this screen for a little while now, and it’s great. The only issue is that when on Bluetooth in a call, the other person can’t hear you, the mic doesn’t seem to be all that great. But it’s easy to connect to, and no problems. I have not used or installed the back up cam, so I can’t speak on that. But I’ve had CarPlay in other cars, and this screen is the same as those. I highly recommend it, and it’s a good price for something that does the same thing a pro can install and charge 100s more.
