Classic Collection Watch, Unisew, Mens and Womens Watches - Official Swiss Railways Wristwatch, Made in Switzerland

This is an excellent watch and a truly iconic design. The classic is the superior model in my opinion - simple, bold and visually clutter-free. I've seen the various models, and dislike the intrusion of the date and other features on a number of them. Having initially ordered an Evo, largely because I wanted the mesh strap, I wasn't impressed. Yes, it was stylistically very close to the classic but I'm not a fan of the new curved metal casing. I wanted the flat and straight lines of the classic. I also love the brushed metal of this model (You can choose between polished and brushed stainless steel) and the Evo, with its curved, polished steel and mesh bracelet felt too 'shiny'. I also agree with another reviewer that the curved glass distorts the view of the face on this model if not looked at straight-on. One thing that may be in the Evo's favour (depending on your taste) is that it has black baton hour markers as opposed to the Classic's flat markers. My only (small) criticism is regarding the leather strap. The design is excellent. Simple black with a red underside which echos that striking second hand (the product photo shows a tan colour but I was happy to receive the red, as stated in the item description). At this price range I think the leather strap should retain its design but be sturdier, similar to some of the Mondaine Helvetica straps or the thick leather strap of the Stop2go. Mondaine do state on their website the lifespan of the leather straps is between 6 to 8 months. That said, from a design perspective, the black stap perfectly compliments the watch face. Overall I'm extremely happy with my purchase, especially for the price I paid. Im a 'Classic' fan all the way - unless Mondaine can reduce the cost (significantly) and the size (slightly) of the Stop2go - then I'll be getting that one too!

Nice smart watch. Good smaller size than most modern 'clock on your wrist' watches. One minor disappitment (for me - others ignore) they do not supply a red upperfacing strap that fits the watch. Else 5 stars for compact watch with hands and second hand that I can easily see.

After returning a Mondaine watch which had included the date option (something in hindsight I decided I did not need and had also been put off by the fact that it continued up to 39 each month), I continued to look over several months for the best price and the size I required. This watch comes with 30mm diameter face and the ladies length in watch strap. It is ideal as the face is larger than the Evo version and very clear. It looks stylish on and I delight in wearing it. As I am now older I find smaller faces more difficult to see and the iconic design adds a clarity which is ideal, it does not look too large on my small female wrist . I happily recommend.

I would like to thank GB watch shop in Glasgow for their help with my order. I thought I would like to order the classic version of this Mondaine Swiss watch based on the classic Swiss railway clocks it's a classic iconic watch but I would recommend for a gents Mondaine watch take the 40 mm or 41 mm watch face. They called 36 mm diameter face- unisex but I personally found it a bit small. Thanks to GB watch shop in Glasgow I was able to track the delivery which was a bit delayed because I ordered around the Easter holiday. They are very friendly helpful and offer a very good communication. They were very quick to refund me once once I started a refund request through Anazon. They are a friendly family business and I would certainly order from them again . in fact I would love to visit their shop in Glasgow.

I like the look of the dial of this Swiss railway watch. The strap is very comfortable and fits well. It keeps excellent time. An excellent product for a good price

The watch itself is great! Minimal design, clean looks and timeless look. I personally went for this model as opposed to the evo one due to the crystal. The evo has a domed crystal which distorts the dial indices when viewed at anything but head on. This model is your typical big standard hardened crystal which is flat and flush with the case. Sure, this watch would of benefitted from a sapphire glass, but for a understated clean look, you cannot go wrong with the mondaine. Btw, funnily enough though this is one of my cheaper watches, the amount of compliments i get whilst wearing it is surprising!

My watch arrived on the date that was specified, neatly packaged. The watch was housed in a very nice presentation box. It was exactly as I hoped it would be. However, the thing that let's the watch down, is the strap. it is much to short (Icould only get it to the second hole) The bands that are there to tuck the end of the strap in are much to big and in my opinion, only one is needed. Now, I realise that this day and age everything needs to be Vegan and sustainable, but as far as the strap goes, it dosen't work. So I bought my self a NATO strap and fitted it and now I am completley happy with my watch. In the photograph that I have supplied, the photo in the left is the original watch and strap. The photo on the right is the watch with the new NATO strap. Please take my advice, if you order one of these watches, make sure that you order a longer strap to go with it.

Great watch for those with failing eyesight - very easy to read (in daylight). Immediately sparks images waiting for a train at a Swiss train station. Not quite the ‘stop-to-go’ replicating the station clocks, but that was known going in. The image is the primary reason for the purchase (and the star rating). Future performance may adjust the rating.

Montre classique ,au design épuré ,qui vous donne l'heure sans fioritures inutiles . On ne se lasse pas d'un tel cadran tant il est hors du temps et des modes . Adepte de la ligne claire , Hergé aurait pu dessiné cette montre . Fabrication suisse ,gage de qualité .je recommande vivement a tous ceux qui n'aiment plus les montres complexes a lire , aux multiples fonctions toutes plus inutiles les une que les autres .celle-ci vous offre l'heure de la façon la plus claire et c'est tout ce qu'on lui demande !!!
