Holds the friction level over time.
Stopped the wild vibration in my washer. Pretty good stuff.

HUGE Difference on Throttle Control
I have a Thrustmaster HOTAS which I use for Elite Dangerous. The throttle began to stick a little, so I cleaned off the rails to see if that would help. It did, a little. However, having no lubricant at all doesn't help performance. After some research on forums, I found that most people recommended this stuff. So, I bought some. Holy cow, what a difference it made! Because it's a DAMPENING lubricant, it provides resistance as well as smooth operation. Some of the other reviews talk about how it didn't work well for them. This isn't a do-it-all kind of lubricant; it's specifically designed to provide precision control by slowing down movement as well as smoothing it out. For Elite Dangerous, what this means is precision control over your throttle which has made a huge difference in gameplay for me. A little of this stuff goes a long way, so this tube should last well beyond the point where your controllers die.

Fixed my VKB Gladiator NXT Twist!
I bought this because it seems the Gladiator nxt has a common issue with the stock grease causing a sticky twist. you can feel the "steps" as you try to do a light twist. I could feel anywhere from 5 to 10 individual steps going from center to either left or right. this doesn't happen if you full send the twist in either direction, but if you make small movements and gradual twists it is very much a problem and very noticeable. I cleaned the old grease out and applied the Nyogel pretty liberally to the twist mechanism. It is now BUTTERY smooth and feels incredible. Now i think i went a little crazy because i can hear some smacking of the gel while twisting so i probably put too much but tbh i don't care since i wear headphones. mileage may vary on that. I care more about the feel than the sound so I'm pleased. 5 stars

Don't use for TWCS throttle.
I won't sit here and argue with the many people using this for the Thrustmaster Warthog and stuff, and I won't give it a bad bad rating for being something that doesn't work for me. But I DO NOT recommend this for the TWCS throttle. This stuff is like tree sap. I spent a good couple hours meticulously cleaning my setup of the stuff they put on it in the factory. Simply put, even with the tensioner barely screwed in, let alone tightened, my throttle would barely move without sliding all over the table. It did fix the stiction that you got with their stock lubricant, but this wasn't better. I'm still hunting for the best one for this job. I spent a long long time cleaning off this super glue 767a stuff. Now I'm using SuperLube PTFE Silicon lube. It may very well be TOO far the opposite direction in viscosity. It's very very slightly better than what came on it, but still not perfect. But way better than this stuff. It's worth noting that even with the slide brackets clamped down, there's still a tiny bit of play in the throttle guides, which may very well have caused the more prominent issues I had with this Nyogel stuff.

Great grease for my HOTAS
In researching what types, brands, etc of grease to use in a variety of online gaming forums, this grease was BY FAR the most recommended for use in my Thrustmaster HOTAS as well others. There seemed to be no comparable alternative and while the price is steep; it does do the job and quite well. Followed some videos and guides online to disassemble the HOTAS units and applied just enough (too much can do more harm than good) and buttoned them back up. IMMEDIATE difference in handling and stick 'snap-back' which is what I was looking for. Just wish they had smaller portions and while I'm sure this will last me a lifetime; I may find more uses as time progresses. Great stuff for my intended purpose!

For butter-smooth Thrustmaster 16000m throttle action.
If you got a Thrustmaster 16000m HOTAS to play Elite Dangerous, or any other flight sim, really, and found the throttle stiction after a couple weeks to be really bad, then this is your grease. Trying to describe just how well this stuff works is problematic as it does NOT facilitate easy gliding down the throttle rail but rather slows it down (it is a damping grease after all). Using this makes the throttle feel like it is being pushed through a stick of butter. That doesn't mean you can't hammer it up to full throttle, even with just one finger, in an instant, but it will resist instead of just flying down the rail. This really helps with ships that are insanely fast in Elite Dangerous as you can just ease it a little and get 5km/s or-less speed adjustments, versus the stock throttle action that is extremely sloppy (because it glides way too easily post-un-sticking). You will question your life choices, as well as all these 5 star reviews, the minute you clean the original grease off the rails and struggle to squeeze some of this out of the tube. I did at least. It is VERY thick as well as tacky. Also, the Thrustmaster 16000m throttle is just a plastic sled on two metal rails so once the back plate is off the bulk of the grease should go on the side facing away from you (topside of the rail) so application with a finger is out of the question for most people with average adult hands or those who don't feel like removing the rails. I actually set aside a small, flat and dense watercolor paintbrush, just for applying and re-applying when necessary. Oh, and 50g is a LOT. This is pretty much a lifetime-supply bottle for your HOTAS needs.

What can be said that hasn't already been said?
I purchased the Thrustmaster T.16000M back in 2018. I did not like the feel of the trottle, and joystick. I was seriously, considering purchasing something more expensive, but decided to try the Nyogel 767a. I heard about it from vaious websites years ago, but avoided it because of the price. After applying the grease to the throttle, I am very satisfied with the results. It adds a level resistance, smoothness and precision. It feels like a completely different product. Eventually I will do the joystick. It was worth it.
