The REEKON T1 Tomahawk is an excellent piece of kit. It’s not cheap, but the quality and features make it worth every penny. The digital display, laser accuracy, and Bluetooth connectivity make measuring quicker and more precise than any standard tape I’ve used. I initially received the wrong blade, but after contacting REEKON, they sent out the correct one straight away with no hassle — great customer service. The build quality is outstanding, and it feels like a professional tool built to last. It’s clear a lot of thought went into the design, and it’s already justified my decision to back their next product on Kickstarter. A brilliant tool for anyone who values accuracy and quality.

Battery would not hold its charge

I do a lot measuring for cabinets to measure for countertops. and the REEKON T1 Tomahawk has instantly become the single most-used tool in my kit. After two solid months of daily use, it’s not hype – this thing is legitimately brilliant. Build quality & feel (5/5) Feels like a premium tool: solid metal body, rubberized grips, and a belt clip that actually stays put. The bright green screen is crystal-clear even in direct sunlight, and the buttons have perfect tactile feedback. It’s survived a few drops with zero issues. Accuracy & speed: Dead-on accurate to 1/32". The live digital readout updates instantly as you pull – no more squinting at tiny markings or doing mental math. The center-line, front, and rear reference switching is genius for inside/outside measurements. The features that blew me away E-Paper side display – you can “freeze” a measurement and it stays on the side screen forever without draining battery. Perfect for crawling under cabinets and still seeing the number when you come out. Green laser reference – makes one-person layout insanely fast. Line up the laser, hit save, and walk away. Split / dual measurement mode – measure two dimensions at once (e.g., rough opening width + height) without retracting. Huge time-saver on door and window installs. Battery life I charge it maybe once every 5-6 days of medium use. The USB-C port is recessed and protected – no dust issues.Only “con” (and it’s tiny) It is expensive for a tape measure but you get what you pay for. I still carry a traditional tape in my kit and some jobs do not need such an overkill of a tool but having the option for bigger jobs is wonderful. It’s slightly thicker than a regular tape, but the trade-off for the screen and features is 100% worth it. If you do any kind of construction, remodelling, or serious DIY, treat yourself to the T1 Tomahawk. It’s not just a tape measure with a screen – it’s a completely re-thought measuring workflow. Easily one of the best tool purchases I’ve made in years. Highly, highly recommended – 5 stars without hesitation!
