Works great. Purchased because we only have 110 at this pool house. After hook up to water pipe to the sink, We just plugged it in to the regular wall plug. Been working as advertised for the past few months.

Easy to install- When installing in a recreational vehicle, make sure you get the correct fittings to adapt the 3/4” dielectric heat trap nipples to the 1/2” plastic (pex) water lines.

Edit: It is now set up and working as expected. Changing original 3 star review to 4. Original: Still setting it up but my experience so far warrants a review so as to make others aware... The product manual on page 11 for Draining and Flushing is inaccurate. Step 2 says to "Connect a hose to the drain valve at the bottom of the water heater". There is no drain valve provided. The diagram on page 11 shows the plug as "Straight brass drain valve". This is not a valve it is a plug. The diagram also says "use an adjustable open end wrench to turn on drain valve". If you remove this plug the water from the tank will immediately drain, no chance to connect a hose as described in step 2. Customer service could not answer this question: "I am about to buy a drain valve for my new ME 100B. Which fitting to go into the heater should I get, MIP or MNPT or something else?" Only an inquiry here led to a response that the fitting is NPT. Will update as install is complete.

This review is for the 10 gallon electric water heater. I am using this water heater as a temporary backup while a new water heater, water heater area and associated plumbing get worked on. It is large enough to take short showers, wash dishes, laundry, etc. Just not at the same time. It is light and easy to move empty. I used PEX pipe with push to connect fittings and braided hoses on both ends to locate the water heater in a temporary location. Recommend setting the temperature to a higher setting than the factory 120 degrees in order to lengthen the amount of time you have hot water. Also keep the foam packaging that comes with the box, you can use the bottom foam as an insulator when having it rest on a cold concrete floor. Also note that you must wire this yourself as it does not come with a corded plug, recommend hard wiring it to a suitable dedicated circuit (20 A) and outlet since it pulls around 15 Amps. Don't take chances using a plug, get yourself some 12/2 armored cable, connectors, etc and wire it up!

After 3 months started smell like rotten eggs! Can’t recommend!

Edit : Customer service reached out to make this right offering a replacement. Barely a month later and is already leaking from the bottom, no more than 45 psi has been run through it as I have out main line into the house regulated

Update 07/03/24 The seller responded & was extremely helpful & quick response, they sent us a copy of the manual on the adjustment procedure, so we adjusted the temp to the 66°c mark & the water is nice & hot now, but very satisfied, still no pilot light or on/off switch, wired it to a 20 amp rated plug cord, it is just for a temporary period. Very disappointed in the 10 gallon water heater, first there is NO on off switch? There is NO pilot light indicating whether it's on? The water is not even Luke warm, it just above cold, it is only piped to a shower (tempary) & is only 12 feet from shower head to water heater, for the price very disappointing.

Before installing, make sure you turn the temperature all the way up, otherwise you're going to take short showers. It looks like a robot astronaut, so I put NASA decals on mine.

Works perfectly fine. This was for my kitchen sink. I put it in series with my hot water line as my main 60 gallon heater is far from the kitchen and needed to "waste" 4-5 liters of water before getting hot water out of the faucet (plus the wait time). Now it's pretty much instantaneous. This heater also supplies hot water to my dishwasher so no need to wait for hot water to arrive from the main tank before starting it. Installation: Quite easy. The toughest part for me was to install a 120VAC outlet close to the heater. Power cord is quite short, like 20" or so. I used a 20A circuit but a 15A would do too as the unit is actually using 1440W of power, which is code compliant for a 15A circuit breaker. But it must be alone on that circuit as the amperage capacity is used at 100% in such a case (120V X 15A X 80% = 1440W). It does the job it's supposed to be doing. Long term reliability is unknown for now, been using it for just 2 weeks. Saw another post declaring it died after 5 years of operation. That's not much but could be an isolated case too. The big question mark for me is about the availability of replacement parts if my unit stops working one day. The unit uses standard 1/2" NPT (male) for hot and cold water. I hooked it up with 1/2" PEX-B pipes so had to buy NPT to PEX fittings. The use of Teflon is obviously a must. Had no leaks whatsoever after turning the water main valve on. One challenge was about finding a way to evacuate the water coming out of the Pressure Relief Valve in case something would go wrong with the heater and the water would start boiling. Not being in the basement, I had to be creative. I ended up using the dishwasher drain (using a T) to evacuate any water/steam that would come out of this valve. Not sure if it's code compliant but that was my only option as my basement is completely finished and could not use any other drain. Not redirecting this valve into a drain was not a risk I wanted to take (some other people left the valve unconnected as per several pictures I saw). All in all a good product. Just be aware of the following: a) Needs to be alone on a 15A electrical circuit to be code compliant and avoid tripping the breaker all the time. b) Power cord is quite short so a 120V electrical outlet will need to be installed nearby in most cases. c) No easy way to drain the tank if you need to. No drain valve. Need to disconnect the unit and flip it upside down. Not practical if used in a camper/trailer that is subject to freezing. d) Reset button is not easily accessible. Need to disconnect and empty the unit to gain access to a plastic cover located at the bottom of the unit. But I have read it would auto-reset itself if it trips as the water cools down. May not be an issue. e) There seems to be no anode that would help protect the tank long term, unless its hidden inside the tank and not replaceable but I doubt it.

This little water heater works great. It gives me the hot water I need for my shop sink. This building is separate from my house and as you can see it hangs on the wall and doesn't take up much space. It can sit on the floor if you choose.

It worked well. Was easy to install.

i should have taken bigger capacity.after tank hot is used up you have to wait2 0 minutes to get more hot water
