Great job with watch, watch band could be better.
Overall I'm impressed by the look and feel of the watch. I was concerned about it being too bulky on my wrist, but it looks fine. The curved back of the watch makes for a comfortable fit. The lift to view feature is a little hit or miss, but you can always press a button to light up the display. The display itself is easily readable, even for someone like me who needs reading glasses. The one thing I didn't care for about the watch is the watch band. I found attaching the watch band to the watch to be a little challenging. It's not clear which side of the band goes on which side of the watch. I tried one way, and found that the watch band on one side was a tight fit to try to get onto the watch. In addition, lining up the pin holes to attach the watch is more difficult than other watches I've owned. After struggling to make things fit one way, I switched the sides for the band. Although still tight, I was able to get it attached. Putting on the watch band is a bit of a challenge. The design allows one end of the watch band to slide through the clasp like a belt, and you continue to slide until you get the fit you want. It can be difficult aligning the end of the band with the clasp to get things started. I took a star off my review for the difficulties I've had with the watch band. That said, once you get the watch on, the band and watch are comfortable.

2 out of 7 have the same problem
I bought several diffferent designs of the Benlydesign digital watches. I got one grey & one black version of this watch. The band would not attach to the back of this watch. The front bad easily attached. I reversed the attachment procedure & the band attached to the front but the other part would not attach to the back. I returned it & was sent a replacement. Same problem + the display on the replacement would not lite up. The other designs of the Benlydesign watches all are fine. One of the other 6 watches I bought was this same design, only in gray. It works fine & the band easily attaches. I tried bands from the other watches with this watch & they will not attach either. 2 Black watches with the identical problem + one did not work. I’m very happy with all 5 of the other watches. Don’t know why only the Black color on this particular design has a problem. Mine had the red display.

Retro Cool, But With A Lot Of Problems
The watch looks very retro cool, but there are some problems. First, the instructions were written by an English Second Language person, making it difficult to understand the instructions in some parts. Past experience with other watch settings will help. Next, the watchband is very difficult to work with. Each end is a different width and if you don't know that and try to attach the wrong ends to the wrong parts of the watch, you will get very frustrated very quickly. Next, the watchband is a real pain in the neck to get onto your wrist. This is probably the worst thing about this watch. Incredibly bad design. You might want to have someone else put it on your wrist for you as it takes two hands. To make matters worse, I figured I would just get a better wristband, but due to the differing sizes of the ends of the band, I probably won't be able to replace it. I may be stuck with this lousy band. I will update this review if I find a replacement that works. As others have noted, the display lighting up when lifting your wrist is dodgy. I've tried slowly raising my wrist, I've tried whipping my wrist. No difference on the odds of the display lighting up. You do have to activate the setting which makes the watch light up on raising your wrist, and I have done that. This function is very poor. Others have mentioned the temperature function only shows you what the internal temperature of the watch is while wearing it. This is true, and this is stupid. I've taken the watch off then let it sit for a while, and while the temperature reading does drop, it takes about half an hour for it to reach the ambient temperature. So this function is pretty much useless. What a waste!
