Tasty baking need
Good flavor. A British recipe called for it.

You Need To Try This! It's GREAT!
Wow this is good. It is great in recipes like Treacle Pudding, or other recipes from Britain or Europe. The big jug means I don't have to buy it very often, and I can jar some up for my kids to use. This is just the ticket to put on pancakes or waffles, especially if you are allergic to maple like my daughter-in-law. I have been known to drizzle some on buttered toast when I run out of honey, too. This is a really great product all around. It arrived wrapped in bubble wrap inside a heavy box, and not one single drop leaked or spilled.

Bought to aid in making frozen yogurt, it’s perfect!
America’s Test Kitchen recommended this as an ingredient in making frozen yogurt in my Cuisinart Ice Cream maker, and I couldn’t agree more with their recipe. Best frozen yogurt ever! I’m sure there is many things this syrup is good for, but I’m keeping it for my froyo!;

Great syrup! Bad shipping container.
I would have given it a 5 star except for the shipping materials. It is heavy so it moved around in the box and pushed in the spout which caused a small leak. But the golden syrup is great! I make Alton Brown's pecan pies with it. I make 6 the first weekend! The spout pop back into place after the first use.

Awesome size!
This product is amazing! So delicious- I use it in any recipe that calls for regular corn syrup. It tastes so much better! I also use it make vegan versions of things that call for honey- like honey mustard. Best use is to make Treacle Tart- a Harry Potter recipe! This size is awesome because we use so much of it - can’t beat the cost!

Did not receive the identical item I ordered.
Lyle's syrup is so delicious, with a refined flavor way above that of corn syrup. Before I placed my most recent order, I tried to find out if there was a difference between the "Original" syrup in the squeeze bottle with traditional green label, and the one with green and yellow label listed as Lyle's Squeezy Syrup "Dessert." I had no success finding a descriptive comparison between the two. Therefore, I ordered the "Dessert"- labeled bottle, to make my own conclusion. I received a 325 ml bottle yesterday, but it was not the "Dessert" bottle I had expected. Instead it was the familiar "Original." And the price was nearly $2 higher than I had expected. I shall enjoy my syrup, as usual, and make sure there is always a bottle in my pantry. But it would have been nice to be informed about the difference/similarity between these two items. .
