if you want to learn networking in depth, this book is highly recommended, it start from the basics and build up to the more advanced topics, this book is a must for every network engineer, already in page 36 and learned so many things!, cant wait to see how much ill learn at the end of this book! (volume 1)

Narbik and Peter have put together a work of art. This book is both comprehensive and flows very easily. There are few technical books out there that don't leave you left for dead looking up terms or doing additional research to understand what's going on. This is one of them. Quite a difficult task to do for such a grueling exam. Excellent read! I would recommend to every CCIE candidate out there.

Very thorough, full of eye-openers, although I feel that some concepts could have been explained a bit more clearly. I wouldn't recommend a freshly baked CCNP to take on this book. If you have a good grasp of a given technology, this book will give you even more expertise. But this book is definitely not your first read when it comes to technologies that are new to you as a CCNP holder - like IS-IS. All in all, it's a must have for every CCIE written candidate but do prepare a boatful of coffee. And did-you-know quizzes are irritatingly difficult :) So watch INE videos first and only then progress to this mammoth of a book.

Arrived super fast and in perfect condition. I have been a CCNP since 2008 and re certified in January, so I figured it's about time to start shooting for the big leagues. This book flows smoothly and covers a wide range of topics. Good resource as well as study material.

i am a dual ccie and studied CCIE RnS third edition at least twice (all pages) study guide by Wandell odom in 2009. Its been almost 8 years since i have revise the things. So thought of revising from scratch once so i ordered this book. Good thing they have kept everything same... same structure and added more concepts. if any new guy looking to study for CCIE this book is a must.This is only CCIE study guide which is more than sufficient in undertstanding the concepts. there are no CCIE study guides for other domains like SP, Wireless, Datacenter etc barring security. For Security i have read so cant compare.

I usually don't like course books, as they are dry. This one is actually easily read and not repetitive. the information is well presented and the format makes good sense. The Q&A are very good, as are the examples; I am very happy with this as revision material.
