Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR AF-P DX Zoom-Nikkor Lens - (Renewed)

Works perfect for far less than new. I was at the beach taking pictures of the pier with my prime lens on and accidentally left the bag on the ground with my extra lens in it in the tide came up and wash sand all over my old lens so I bought it again renewed and it's perfect. It does come with a cheap plastic cap to cover the back of the lens but that's also how it shipped from Nikon and I've seen people complain about it but it's not a prime lens so it doesn't come with an expensive or should I say less cheap rear cap since the Caps only cost a couple dollars to buy a good one so I'm not sure why people complain about not getting a $3 cap

Okay so I was a little skeptical about buying this because the reviews are not helpful. But, I am so happy I purchased this. The autofocus is excellent. It is true description it is near to silent. So, there is a little tiny sound that you hear but you can drown that out with a little bit of background music or you can just not care because it's that quiet. I'm so happy I purchase this one and not the brand new one. They wanted $246 for a brand new lens and in my eyes that's the same price of a new camera maybe not a great camera but a camera none the less. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you are having or have had the issues that I had with my old Nikon lens. The autofocusing wasn't that great it took forever and it was loud you couldn't even drown it out it was so heavy in the video. This lens has great image stabilization. Now, I will have to say I have not tried it in low light yet but I work with lights all day long so for me that's not an issue. But I had this camera since I've been in high school and I just refuse to buy another one. And once I found that there was an alternative to fix my issue. I was like add to cart. The coolest thing about this lens is it's completely different. One is lightweight. 2 it's compacted. 3 it looks good. Now I have a 90-day warranty with this so I will be playing around with this lens until my warranty is up and if I have any issues I will update this review. Oh, I just want to shout out to the company because they had my package delivered one day earlier than what they told me . So, I extremely appreciate you.

I bought my nikon d3300 with the af-s autofocus lense, but the lense was extremely loud during video. This Af-p lense is silent to both the camera mic, as well as a cardioid external mic. Autofocus works flawlessly, picked up my face well while vlogging. Came in absolutely perfect condition, not a scratch on it. This is a great upgrade from the af-s lense. The pule motor in these is an amazing upgrade.

Unfortunately I had to return the lens because it did fit my camera, but it wouldn't work, and it turns out that I bought the wrong type of lens (18-55mm VR AF-P), and I got a refund for it, and I ordered another the right stardard lens (18-55 VR mm AF-S), and I didn't have any more problems with it since.

This lens is completely sealed barrel and larger filter size than before its issue. The lens is not 52 mm, but 55 mm, so don't be fooled. I wonder id this lens camera will allow external controls?

I bought this lens because I was having trouble with the focusing of subjects with my bigger lens. Got it today and tested a few shots and so far I like what I have gotten. **Update: did a photoshoot and the lens is not as clear and define as I thought it would be. Also not sure why I have to unlock the lens every time I use it. Ask the seller and they didn’t know either.

Works great! I got this for a back up lens and I’ve not been disappointed. It works with my Nikon D7500 & my backup camera a Nikon D3500. I was hesitant to buy refurbished but I would buy again. I had been leaning towards B&H Photo but Amazon was able to get it to me faster and it was about $12 cheaper because of the free shipping.
