Anthony's Organic Shredded Coconut, 2 lb, Unsweetened, Gluten Free, Non GMO, Vegan, Keto Friendly

A good price and nice product--the unsweetened coconut is something I use in homemade granola and sometimes Indian dishes. This has a good taste, nice texture, and works as well as any other of this type of product that I've used. A good buy.

This shredded coconut is perfect for baking because it’s organic, unsweetened, and high quality. The texture is great for breads, pastries, cookies, and toppings. I love using clean, simple ingredients in my bakery, and this coconut fits perfectly with that standard. Great flavor and consistent quality every time.

Super fresh and great tasting! I love the fact that it is organic considering that I use this to make homemade fresh coconut milk. I feel it is a great value for the money and all in all I will be saving money from buying it in the cartons, but the taste is not even comparable, this makes the best fresh coconut milk without having to crack open a fresh raw coconut!! My recipe is 1.5 c coconut, 3 c filtered water, 1/2 t vanilla, dash of honey as well as Chinese five spice powder, pinch of salt. Whirl it all up in the Vitamix and strain with a really nice quality nut bag to get all that beautiful goodness out of it…It is divine!!

I mistakenly purchased Anthony's Shredded Coconut by accident when attempting to purchase another bag of their Nibs). SInce it cannot be returned, I thought I would give it a try. Well I am pleased to say I'm glad I made the error in ordering because I really like the taste, texture and quality. I have been mixing it with bone broth protein powder for a snack and adding it to different dishes. It will now be a "Subscription" for future bags.

The taste is fine for making milk but the texture is more like bumpy powder than shredded. That’s all I can say

About 2 hours after ordering Anthony's Organic Shredded Coconut, I had second thoughts. Perhaps I'd ordered coconut flakes, or large chunky shreds of coconut? When I couldn't find ANY reference to FINELY shredded coconut on product description, I tried to cancel my order... Oopsie! Too late.... the packing/shipping process had already started. Luckily, I read through the reviews and discovered people intending to buy coconut flakes ended up with this product and were unhappy. I was in luck!! In terms of size, I'd say that each coconut shred is larger than a grain of dried quinoa and smaller than a cooked grain of quinoa or millet. I'll just add that this product is excellent! It's very fresh and moist and delicious! It's flavorful and perfect for my breakfast muesli or baking. I'm so happy I opened this rather than return it.

After trying different brands I purchased Anthony's and I'm absolutely delighted with the product. As soon as you open the bag you can feel the natural coconut smell, the texture is perfect for adding to yogurt, puddings, pies, cakes or even whipped cream. I have used it in different ways and without being overwhelming you can really taste the delicious coconut flavor. I highly recommend it.
