Action Camera in Reno, NV is where I’ve purchased several of MONFROTTO’s Italian made tripods. I should handle those tripods in a more gentle matter but I don’t. I just literally throw ‘em in my vehicle and they’re so well made and sturdy that even a Neanderthal like myself can’t render their tripods unworkable.

Preferred this to the twist-close model. The included head and shoe are sturdy, but the shoe is a bit difficult to seat properly. I was concerned about not having anything stabilizing the legs when open but it seems to be very sturdy. Used it for astrophotography with an ioptron tracker and pentax k1 and it handled the weight just fine. Haven't tried it in wind yet. The tripod packs down nice and small and I like the carrying case. Please note you have to remove the head to zip the carrying case all the way.

I was absolutely surprised at how nice this small tripod is. Very sturdy very high quality and exactly what I would expect from manfrotto. I don't think you will be disappointed if you purchased this.

The tripod works well with my Nikon D75-0 and my iPhone holder. This tripod is very easy to go from inside the carry case to having the legs fully extended. Maybe 1 minute once you get familiar with the product. The ball head swivels easily yet is fully secured once the knobs are tightened. I would buy again if the needs arises.

Great tripod to take with you travelling. It's light-weight, quick to set-up, and well made. some things I have noticed that I do not like about it is that it can be a pain removing the camera from the tripod. The camera mount will at times seem stuck in the tripod and the unlocking mechanism hard to operate but this could just be because it's not worn in... I'm not sure. When the tripod is fully extended and on uneven ground it is slightly bouncy (due to its construction and weight of the camera). I definitely wouldn't use this fully extended on a windy day because of how light the tripod is it will vibrate/shake. Other than that it's been a great tripod.

It is terrible to work with. I bought this expensive tripod because my photography professor recommended it and I was new at the time. As time has progressed and I have become better and tried other people's tripods I can confidently say this is not worth what you pay for. It is super wobbly which makes long exposures difficult to shoot. It also makes it hard to adjust the angle of the camera because the knobs that control that are either too tight or too lose and once you adjust it once it's really hard to get it straight again. Another bothersome thing is that the attachment for the camera is too big and doesn't allow me to access my SD card without having to take it on and off constantly. I wanted a high quality, easy to use, durable tripod but instead I got a high quality, hard AF to use, durable tripod which cost me around $200 and now I just want to get rid of it, sell it, or burn it to the ground. It's also too heavy to carry around every day. All in all very annoying to work with.

I love the compact size, strength, and ease with which to break this tripod out and close for storage quickly. I have been using for six months and I’m pleased I made this purchase. I also found on Amazon the correct base pieces to use to mount to this tripod.

Upgraded from a super cheap tripod to this and it's a night and day difference. Light, maneuverable, and rock solid this tripod is fantastic. In addition to cameras and phones, you can also mount a crossline laser to it to do DIY stuff around your house. It's quite versatile!

So easy to use and versatile - even for a newbie like me. Definitely would recommend
