I decided to try doing gel nails at home for the first time to save on salon costs, and I wanted to share my honest experience. On my first attempt, I applied only the gel color and cured it under the light. It chipped the next day, wasn’t shiny, and looked sticky and dull. This set also didn’t include instructions, which made the process confusing. After some research, I realized I needed a base coat before the gel color and a top coat after. Once I ordered those and redid my nails, the difference was huge! My manicure looked smooth, shiny, and lasted much longer. So the issue wasn’t the gel—it was just my lack of experience. The bottles are small, but you don’t need much product because the pigmentation is strong and applies easily. My only complaint is that a couple of the colors aren’t perfectly accurate. The only downside is that the lightest red leans more orange than expected. Overall, great quality gel polish for the price, especially once you know the proper steps to apply it.

The colors were great! The only down fall of this product line is the bottles are so small or I worry about longevity. You do have to keep the bottles upright when storing or they will leak even if they are closed.

Take me back to the 80’s! These colors are reminiscent of my childhood and I love them! Vivid, bright, fun neon colors! If you loved the 80’s or just bold bright fluorescent colors then this set is for you! Color goes on great and lasts all week- even more if you take your time and do it right! I have many sets of different colors from this brand and love them all!

My favorite color of all time is, blues of all shades. This is the perfect set of blues I purchased. I have it on my ring finger and thumb, to pair it with a arctic blue cat eye effect. At the time, I didn’t realize this set of blues was cat eye polish. I’m even more excited to do that effect with one of these colors. The quality is great! This is my second time Purchasing from the company and believe me, I’ll be purchasing more!! Such beautiful colors.

Fireflies Forrest: I had this in my cart and it went out of stock for awhile when I saw it came back I scooped it up. Born Pretty polishes although always pretty tend to be hit or miss. The brushes are always atrocious these were no different brush not great even had a long strand of bristle come out on one. Also a lot of the time their polishes tend to be really thick compared to other gel polish, BUT this set was different. The only thick one was the glitter and I expect that from those. The rest had a nice consistency to them. There are two cat eyes numbered 04 and 06. O4 the cat eye was almost non-existent and really hard to gather. 06 was great, easy to work with and gather the particles. As a whole for this set I thought all the colors were pretty and I'm happy with them, these have been some of the better Born Pretty polishes as a whole that I've tried. I would recommend this set. I really liked it.

This that came with really nice colours. Consistency is smooth and yet thick at the same time ~one coat of the nail polish really covers the nail.

The colors are not the same as the photos. Also they have a very strong odor. Two of them are almost the exact same.
