Got a pair of these. Im a farrier so I squeeze all day and carpal tunnel splints still allow my fingers to lock up at night. I love that you can mold the splint as needed. I would improve them to be more like a mitten for ease on on off so you dont have to fiddle with all the straps every time, but thos straps also help with the fit, so I still think they are very good braces.

I think the sizing runs large. Though I got a large for my mother in law (who has large hands), her fingers fall out of the back of the finger holes. I like that you can adjust the brace to mold it to specific need and feel if the brace is smooth. This helps keep her fingers extended (until they fall out of the finger holes) instead of being clenched. With the right size, it would be awesome!

I have contracted fingers on one hand. I had a different brace to wear at night, but I needed to take it off halfway through the night. My OT recommended this hand splint. I like the individual finger holes, It's comfortable enough to leave on all night.

The device was not effectively keeping my hand flat to prevent night time bending from Dupuytren’s and was too large to treat a sprained ring finger. The size would be problematic as far as making space to accommodate it in bed, which was my intended use. Note, the rigid nature and bulk of the device could be injurious to bedmates (or yourself). There are a few redeeming qualities. Its use may be indicated for those with wrist problems and palmar trauma. And, the splint seems sturdy enough to limit injury if you are wearing it during the daytime and are active on the job. Caution - The zipper of the blue ‘mitten’ is tiny which doesn’t allow for a firm grasp and the foam containing the moldable aluminum brace is hard to reinsert if you wanted to remove it for cleaning. The zipper needs to be a wider track with a bigger pull, so be careful. But like I said…overall, not for everyone. I’d give it 2.5. I sent it back and went to Walmart where I could actually look and compare, less uncertainty. Your mileage may vary.

This is too big and too much for my poor hand with rheumatism. My arm went numb and I had to remove it and return it. It' a little too much for a hand. I am sorry. It's made well.
