A good value
Itโs good for beginners if you keep it on the A setting

Good for a beginner, but lacking for intermediates
There is no such thing as a true "beginner friendly, RTF" RC airplane. There's a pretty large learning curve for those that are inexperienced with the hobby. Out of the box this, like every other plane, will need some tweaking and tuning to get it to fly correctly. That isn't the fault of this airplane, but the norm for RC airplanes. Nothing is perfect out of the box. Be prepared to learn and do lots of research. This one needed a lot of adjustments in the turnbuckles to get the controls level. This instructions clearly lay this out, so a newbie should be able to manage it without too many issues. Upon testing I could easily tell that the micro servos in this plane do not have enough torque to get a full throw of the controls. That's not all that out of the ordinary and it limits the range of motion of the controls which is GREAT for new pilots, but will leave experienced pilots disappointed because it's rather tame in the air. So much so that you need a lot of open space to allow for maneuvering, more than you would for other small planes. It flies well and is very easy to control in the air. Battery life is adequate for the size of the model and the gyro is a bitch twitchy in testing, but is totally fine in the air. If you are new you will crash and crash a lot. Foam can be repaired with packing tape and hot glue. Break it, fix it, fly it again. If you get the bug to fly more you can progress onto bigger and better and building your own. I think this little plane is totally fine for beginners. If you so choose it can be gutted down the road and have new electronics installed in it to get more fun out of it which is what I ended up doing rather quickly. Servo upgrades really bring this airframe to life, but will require a new receiver as the stock one doesn't have the power to really move anything else. I am pretty happy with it and will be giving it new life into the future.

Dud? HAWK'S WORK 4 Channel Radio Controlled Airplane
I am very disappointed with the HAWK'S WORK 4 Channel Radio Controlled Airplane. The Sales Price Plus the Classic Cessna design looks Great, The Electric Motor and Controller look quite capable, that is the end of the good stuff. The Poor Qualities of the Flight Controller are at the heart of the problem. In the many tries to fly the airplane it seems the maximum control distance is about seventy-five feet, maybe less before it looses the radio signal and dives for the ground. I own over fifty similar Airplanes, not a single one has these types of issues. The Manual Travel Inputs on the Radio Controlled surfaces is a couple of Millimeters at best, the flight controller on the other hand has the ability to move them to the extreme limits - making flying this Airplane all but impossible. Hopefully Hawks Work will correct these issue in the future, for now I would avoid this product and look for similar products that feature XPilot or another proven flight controller, especially for the Beginner RC Pilot. I gave the HAWK'S WORK 4 Channel Radio Controlled Airplane a full Two Stars Across the Board. The Airplane is designed really well, the Foam is Durable, The Electric Motor and Servos are Capable and reliable. The Radio Control & Flight Controller are Sub-Standard taking out the remaining three Stars.

Big Fun and Unbelievable Performance!
I recently got this HAWKS WORK 4 Channel RC Cessna airplane, and it has been an absolute delight. This remote-control airplane comes ready to fly right out of the box (with some minor assembly), which is fantastic for beginners. The brushless motor is powerful and reliable, providing smooth and efficient operation every time. The 6-axis gyro stabilizer makes flying incredibly stable, even in less-than-ideal conditions. This is perfect for those just starting out, as it helps prevent crashes and makes the learning curve much more manageable. The stabilizer ensures that the plane maintains a steady flight path, allowing you to focus more on enjoying the experience rather than constantly correcting the planeโs course. The three flight modes allow you to switch between setting that pair with experience and ability -- beginner, intermediate, and expert modes, which adds a lot of versatility. The beginner mode is excellent for learning the basics, while the expert mode allows for more advanced maneuvers and stunt flying. This flexibility means the plane can grow with your skills, providing long-term enjoyment. Ease of use is a major point. The controls are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to perform various flight maneuvers. The plane responds quickly to commands. The ready-to-fly setup means you donโt have to spend hours assembling the planeโjust charge the battery, and youโre good to go. Speaking of the batteries, you'll be amazed at how small and light the two batteries are, and how long they last. It really is a modern marvel and something that amazes me every time I fly this plane. The HAWKS WORK RC Cessna airplane surpasses my expectations. Itโs capable of impressive stunts and smooth flight, thanks to its sturdy design and advanced features. The build quality is excellent. The manufacturer designed in durable materials that withstand a person who is learning to fly. This radio-controlled Cessna airplane is a fantastic value. It's great for anyone interested in remote control flying. Itโs easy to use, versatile, and performs really well.

This flies OK, the servos are a bit week.
This flies OK, but the servos have a bit of trouble returning the control surfaces to their neutral point. It was calm enough this morning to take this out and give it a test flight. Before the test flight I checked out the centering on the control surfaces and their movements. They move a bit sluggish and don't have much travel, but this can actually be good in a trainer style plane. While testing it, I noticed that the control surfaces tended to not return all the way to their neutral point, and you had to give them a little counter input to get them back to neutral. I could not identify any issues with the push rods, this seems to be caused by play in the servo and/or servo horns. I took it out for some test flights and with the gyro inputs turned on, the sluggishness and play of the control surfaces was not a problem beyond a tenancy to yoyo up and down or wag its tail a bit. With the gyro turned off, you could defiantly notice the play in the servo controls, but at the same time it also gave you much more control over the control surfaces. It flies OK, with the gyro turned on, it is somewhat beginner friendly, but not as good as it could be. The plane can take a less than perfect landing with almost no damage beyond a few minor dents in the foam. I didn't have a landing hard enough to damage the propeller so I don't know if that hard of a landing would cause problems with the motor or motor mounts. The motor seems to have plenty of power, this thing will climb very well, and it could get out of range fairly quickly. It flies best at about 1/2 throttle. The range was OK, I never had it get out of range, but if it did, it would be hard to see at 200 meters. The controller is too much like a console gaming controller for me, but the younger generation may find it better than the old boxy style RC transmitters.

Fast and rugged
This 4 channel RC plane is definitely fun to fly. Being 4 channels, I have control over Ailerons, Rudder and elevator for full flight control. It also has 3 stages, two of which are assisted by a gyro for stability. The 3rd stage has no gyro and is full maneuverability. Easy to assemble even with the given instructions. It has two batteries that provide good flight time. The remote has trim settings for all 3 control surfaces. Take off from ground or throwing the plane, I tested both. The only issue with taking off from ground is the wheels need to be straight. This plane flies nicely. On setting 1-2 the flight is smooth and easy with lots of control. But be careful if a beginner, it's fast at full throttle. On setting 3, I did flips and rolls with ease. I don't recommend flying this plane with winds above 10mph if not very experienced. Lastly, I did get a glitch from the back side of a park a couple of times, something over there is interfering with signals. As a result, I crashed the plane a couple of times, no damage at all. Once I left that area, I had no other issues. One thing I love about foam planes is they are easy to fix with the right glue. For the price, this is a great 4ch RC plane.

Not worth the money. Spend the extra 20 and get something better made
Low quality parts with a spotty receiver. After diy the missing landing gear and gluing together the broken nose cap. The plane flew ok but wind was no match and pulled it quickly out of range. Added a star as this may be a good plane I'll have to try and find it to know though.
