Misleading title and cover
The title and cover of this book is very misleading, I was so dissapointed when I received it and looked inside. It should be called 101 ideas for greetings cards with a little embroidery, and they are boring ideas. Presented in a dull way, with overall very dated designs.I was really hoping for a good resource for stitches on paper, the design on the cover is pretty, but that same design is not even featured in the book.Furthermore, none of the stitches are explained particularly clearly, and I could have easily found them on the internet instead of purchasing this book. Most of the designs heavily features embossing and other paper crafts. If you want some dated designs for greetings cards, this is the book for you, if you are looking for an inspiring read with good paper embroidery visuals then keep looking!

Don't Be Fooled by the Cover
If you enjoy embroidery on paper and are a card maker like me, you'll probably look at the cover of this book and think 'Oh, lots of borders - exactly what I'm looking for!' And if you do, you'll probably be disappointed. Not only are most of the patterns in the book not set up to work as borders, there are even a few which require use of separately purchased brass pricking templates.I decided to keep the book because I have the software and skills to transform some of the patterns into borders, but I was disappointed.

101 ideas for embroidery on paper
Although this book did contain a few ideas with no templates as said . I found it a very good little book with easily adaptable patterns. It is ideal for the beginner as some of the designs are simple but very classy . You can adapt quite a few of them easily to xmas designs. All my Xmas cards this year were made from this book, I was addicted to card embroidery and did not put this book down! I have just bought another of hers.

Embroidery on paper
A great range of patterns with good illustrations .Confusingly some of the cards illustrated did not have a pattern but referred to a template,OK if you have the template but no information on where to get it.
