L.A. COLORS Demo - Color Craze Shimmer Gel Polish, Giddy CNL278

Takes a bit to dry or maybe I'm just impatient, could be either. Goes on smooth and evenly. Once dry sufficiently hard to not easily chip. Has a pretty good gloss when dry. I also put th L.A. COLORS lear gloss topcoat on. Great shine and helps protect from chipping. I'm extremely rough on my nail polish and it still holds up well, especially at this price point. In fact I'm wearing it right now. Exactly the bright green I've been looking for. For bang for your buck it's hard to beat L.A. COLORS, especially the gel.

L.A.Colors is the most underrated nail polish on the market, in my opinion. The colors shown are very consistent with the color you'll receive also. I appreciate that about this brand, they do their best to represent true color. Sometimes I wear several coats of this color (Teddy Bare) under something else....something more expensive. I have used this color and can tell you I can go 2 weeks without chipping OR tip wear if I use a base coat like OPI and I apply several coats of thick fast drying top coat. Some of the L.A. colors wear differently though, so I buy different colors here and there, to try them out. The Gel version of this polish is awesome, it is a thick consistency so even if you have some ridges in your nails, you don't see them. This truly does look like gel nails. I've got a nail polish collection that spans 20 years or so. Many of my rare polishes are running low and are irreplaceable at this point, so it's nice that I've found some cheap, well performing base coats and don't have to use so much of it. Economical and out performs many other polishes 3 times the price. I love this brand.

Love this brand. It last on my toes for 4 weeks. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. It dries quickly which is always a plus.

This highlighter yellow color is my favorite summer color, it's so bright and fun. BUT - you have to put down a base coat of white or it won't be as vibrant, and it's really not opaque, so you need 3 coats. You also need a good long while to really dry between each coat. I love the color so much, but it's definitely not perfect and some people may not find it worth the extra work to make it look good. It is very durable though, once it's on. I can easily get 2+ weeks without chipping or tip wear. Also, the price point is just about the best out there for the quality. All in all, 4 stars in my opinion.

I love this shimmery color! It looks like the color of the ocean on some days and the shimmer is gorgeous. I use it to add shimmer and sparkle to many of my solid shades. On a neon lime green polish, it added shimmer and toned it down a bit. Very Pretty! Great value for the money. The L A Colors last a few days before chipping but that's because of doing housework....

On the thinner side, so needs like three coats. I do like the color that three coats gets you.

This bright pink is great for summer. I use it all the time for my pedicures. It’s easy for my technicians to apply, it isn’t too thin and it isn’t too thick.

I don’t know if the heat during shipping killed it or what, but this polish was one of the worst polishes I’ve ever tried! TT_TT Seriously, just fork over the extra few bucks to get a better drugstore gel-like creme if you really want one. Pros: - Pretty color! - …That’s about it. I guess it didn’t arrive broken, but that’s an expectation, not a “pro.” Cons: - Weirdly sticky and tacky. - Because of that, it was difficult to apply. - I STRUGGLED to clean up my lines as normal. The edges of the polish looked super choppy and like there were filaments or sticky strands or something sticking out. - Seriously, it felt like it was formulated with glue or something. - I do NOT have a nail polish allergy, but this made my cuticles/skin surrounding the polish clean up area slightly itchy by day 2. It wasn’t enough to be super concerned, but it was noticeable. I have tried other polishes (including other gel-like ones) since then without issue. - I genuinely might just throw this away due to the weird itchiness. Normally, I’d try to salvage a sticky polish with some reviver, but this one was just too horrible!
