Pull out sofa bed solution
The worse thing about a pull out sofa bed is the mattress. I installed a 4” foam cushion under the mattress but it wasn’t enough for my 350# son. So, I ordered the bed board under the foam cushion. My son was very pleased with the solution. Excellent solution and it perfectly fitted my sofa bed!!

Not wide enough
Why can’t the manufacturer make these the same dimensions as mattresses? It constantly slides and pushes the mattress away from you.

A++, wow!
I really didn't think this would work for me, but boy was I wrong!I have custom bed that doesn't use springs. It has a build in to the frame bottom thick plywood board instead. The main reason we went this route is we wanted a lower bed. It worked great for about a year, but we noticed a little sagging in the middle of the bed. Didn't look like it was sagging but felt like it. When I read about this bunkie board I thought there was an outside chance it would help.It is a finely made item with sturdy wood sewn in fabric and a zipper that you can use to remove the planks if you need to. I have a queen size bed, and I wasn't sure if the boards would be big enough to be effective. I was also dreading removing the mattress to get the bunkie board on the base wood of the bed.I was quite impressed when I opened the package and saw the quality and size of th bunkie board. It is not as big as the queen bed, but it covers most of the space with maybe six inches around the edge not covered. I wouldn't think that would be a problem, and it was not. Much to my delight, I found I could just tilt the mattress a little and th bunkie board would slide under the maatress onto the base without taking the whole mattress off hte bed. And most importantly, we noticed an immediate firming up of the middle of the bed! Yea, bunkie. Highly recommend!!!!
