I've been using this doorbell camera for over a month now, and I'm very satisfied with the purchase. The battery life has been impressive—after more than a month of use, the battery is still at 45%. The image quality is excellent, providing clear video during both the day and night. The included chime is loud enough to be heard throughout the house, and notifications are sent to all of my family members' phones without any issues. One feature I really appreciate is that a subscription is not required to use the camera. By installing a microSD card, you can record and access events without paying a monthly fee. The only limitation is that access to the recordings stored on the SD card is restricted to the primary account. Family members with shared access can receive notifications and view live video, but they would need a subscription to access event recordings from their own accounts. Since installation, I haven't experienced any connectivity problems, missed notifications, or other issues. Overall, this has been a reliable, feature-rich doorbell camera that offers great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it.

I am challenged by technology so I was apprehensive about buying any camera. I chose this one because a neighbor had recommended Wyze as being affordable and dependable. It was easy to set up and I'm very happy with the camera. The video quality is very good and you can choose what notifications are appropriate for you.

Easy installation. Wide view of property. Clear image. Great value. We had a Ring doorbell and I was very hesitant to switch to Wyze but we had other Wyze cameras in our yard and thought it would be easier with one app. Impressed that it is better quality than the ring and much wider view. We’ve only had it for a day, but detection accuracy seems great so far. And the chime for inside works perfectly it was very easy to install. Highly recommend.

I have a dozen Wyze cameras of various models in a few locations. I went with this thinking it'd be easier to not have a separate app and get the great functionality I've always gotten... but that's not how it works. The doorbell camera is horrible. It works as a doorbell... and that's about it. It doesn't detect motion. It won't record unless it detects motion. Thus it doesn't really work as a camera whatsoever. It never works to drop in and see what is going on. It is usually unable to connect... and I have a cameras both closer and further to the router that have no problem. The battery (which I had to buy separately and got a Wyze genuine product) lasts about four days (from full to zero)... which is amazingly little considering it isn't recording and I had it turn off the indicator light and other energy-intensive features. There are some features that would be nice and I thought were included on such a device... but Wyze apparently decides that now you must pay a monthly subscription to do very basic things like record (to my own SD) for more than 12 seconds or with shorter than a minute apart. And even if I paid, it doesn't fix that it hardly ever connects and won't record nor that it fails to detect motion - like people and large packages coming to the door - even on the highest sensitivity. It really doesn't detect on the lowest sensitivity or anything between - I tried to get this thing to work. It doesn't detect or record at night - period - even with IR on. I'm not sure what to say it does do well. Yes, there's two cameras. For the brief seconds it randomly works (without motion - just random and not every day as it usually won't connect) there is OK video. Fishbowl, but OK. I've never had a problem with my Wyze products before. Now that I do - Customer service is nonexistent! I won't buy another Wyze product just because of this. The quality is going down quickly and I wouldn't want to risk it.

We really like wyze. This doorbell camera has a great range of view. The battery dies fairly quickly I feel, and Wyze encourages not having it record as many motions to save battery? The doorbell is as loud as a normal doorbell. Easy to adjust vision, motion detection, notifications, etc (that all is part of the app and yes you do have to pay a subscription but worth the money for each tier they offer. The doorbell camera itself is worth the money as well .

Great product. Wyze is the way to go for cameras and doorbells. The trick here is to connect the doorbell first, in the Wyze app. If you add an SD card make sure it is the "high endurance" SD card if you are going to be recording constantly. I hotwired this doorbell, and set it to constantly record. I can also set how long individual videos last if a person is detected, or package, or whatever you want to choose. It was easy to connect, and set the motion sensitivity. It is pointed at the road, but on medium detection it has not picked up cars, or people walking on the sidewalk. The mounting was easy, but remember to use the tool to push down from the top if you need to take it off the mounting plate. If Wyze were to make any improvement it would be to add a little cover for the top to shade the camera from the porch light. (see pictures) If you have a light above or on the side of the doorbell, the camera picks up the light and adds a light reflection to the video. I bought a strip of hard, black plastic and cut it into a square, then attached it to the top of the doorbell with simple, thin, two-way foam adhesion. Since I'm hardwired, I shouldn't need to remove it, but it's not stuck on super tight if I did.

A great doorbell camera with lots of features. Install was easy especially with the battery. We simply removed the basic doorbell and placed the mount for this one over that spot. Camera quality is great. The app has tons of detection features. We had to tweak the detection systems a few times as it was at first picking up everything and then missing a lot of things. The package detection and secondary camera is great. Quality is clear. As we use other Wyze cameras and locks it integrates well and is even able to unlock the deadbolt (also Wyze) from the same screen while viewing a person at the door. It also uses the same batteries as the other Wyze devices so we just keep a spare charged and swap into the different Wyze cameras and deadbolt as needed which is great.

I do not recommend this product — the camera constantly freezes during calls, making it impossible to use.

would be 5 stars if the doorbell notification was more streamlined like RING. there are workarounds but its a bit of a pain. but other than that, its a great addition to our ring system!
